The Towers Hotel, Ilfracombe

...The North Devon coast is, for me, one of the most fantastic places in the UK. There are lots of activities to do in the area including surfing, hiking, cycling, horse-riding, scuba diving, wildlife-watching, fishing, and exploring. My wife and I have just enjoyed a stay at the Towers Hotel in Ilfracombe, which is an ideal location for visiting north Devon. The hotel is a spectacular Victorian-style building with the slightly-over-the-top architecture which could only work in a building of this era. The interior is kept in-style with the overall building and is exceptionally clean and tidy. Even the Victorian features such as the high ceilings, covings and high skirting boards were in clean, good condition which must take a lot of work by the owners. There is ample car-parking for all guests, and also a small bar and lounge area...

HOTEL GOTHIA TOWERS

Advantages: DECENT LOCATION WITHIN THE CITY
Disadvantages: THERE ARE CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES

...I visited this hotel when i visited Gothenburg recently. As you walk in to the massive lounge you are greeting by wonderful decor and staff that are immacuatley turned out. I made the mistake of not booking in advance and despite there being a boat convention on in the hotel (which was attracting people from around the world) and it being 9pm in the evening the lady at reception went out of her way to find me a room after it was initially found to be full. My room did not have the best view in the world, and i found my bed uncomfortable (it was a hard matress and i prefer soft) but, again, the decor and bathroom were worth the eur 150 a night we were staying. On the ground floor was a wonderfully decidant lounge bar which served a mixture of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers. The drinks are not cheap, but they are not...

...Visiting Warsaw, Poland is just the best part in your life when you visiting the first time. The name sounds as the place. In my 5days visit to this incredible city, i lodged in the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel and Towers, Warsaw. The hotel is just what you can expect of a paradise on earth. Its big, with about 352 rooms and is close to the city center. The Hotel has a good restaurant, good staffs who are very welcoming and the customer service there is just so good. The first thing that came to my mind upon booking was whether i will cope there with the language but to my greatest surprise, it was the reverse. The customer service can handle you well with the language and you will never regret it. The prices range from £39.50 to £154.00 and i know it will be welcoming to anyone who want a peaceful and safe days in a foreign land. I recommend...

Towering Over The Strip

Advantages: good location, comfortable, helpful staff
Disadvantages: not as much to offer as other hotels

...unlimited travel up the Strip so the Stratosphere location is not too bad. I did walk the whole strip once it does seem quick when your going into the hotels as the city is so lively anyway. The Stratosphere is considered downtown when getting a taxi from the airport though so will cost you about $16 for a return which is still not that bad. The hotel is near lots of souvenir shops and I suppose in a way it is good because not being right in the busiest part of the Strip you get a bit of peace at night. As soon as you arrive you can see the tower from the airport as it sticks out high above the Strip. As soon as you get here the reception and casino hit you right away and you know you're in Vegas. The casino here is not the most impressive of the hotels but is very red themed and is always busy with its poker tables, slot machines, you name it...

...I've stayed at the Splash Landings Hotel in the Alton Towers park a couple of times now, and each time have had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is not without some flaws but overall my experiences have been good. Firstly I will say I get the rooms in the hotel cheap through my staff discount, and pay £80 a night for 2 people to go bed and breakfast. This is good value to me as the convenience of being near the park and the early ride time makes it well worth the money. However, I'm not sure I would ever pay the full rather extotionate rate they charge without the discount, which is over £200 per room per night. So, the hotel itself. It originally aired on BBC 1 in the 1970s It is a comedy made at the height of comedy in the 70s and is about a hotel - "Fawlty Towers" in Torquay.
