I found the various dealerships varied quite a lot in terms of customer services prior to a sale. Once the sale had been completed, the aftersalesare second to none. --Dealerships -- I visited dealerships throughout the Midlands in order to find my dream car, my findings are as follows :- Listers Toyota - Coventry This was the first dealer I visited. I was allowed to view the cars on the forecourt with no pressure from the salesman. The cars however were not presented in tip-top condition in my opinion. ...I'm sure many of you out there have spent a fair bit of your internet time browsing somewhere such as eBay for unnecessary products to spend your hard earned cash on. Well, here's an alternative that in my view at least, is better than eBay... I'm sure you're all aware of the concept of Amazon.co.uk and the service it provides, allowing you to buy any kind of electrical goods/DVD/CD amongst the greater selection of goods it now sells. But you can also sell things on Amazon, and buy material from third-parties rather than just through Amazon...that's where it's Marketplace comes in. When clicking on a product, take a DVD for example, you will be given the price, but also an option to buy "Used & New", which will take you to third party sellers which are not associated with Amazon, just merely members of the site. ...Recently, I've started to use Amazon regularly and find that their service is excellent, although it does depend on the buyer you purchase your product from. I have encountered two problems recently which was disappointing. First of all, I ordered a Nintendo DS from their website. Although the product didn't come directly from Amazon, but from Piximania who were selling the product through Amazon. The product did not state that the Nintendo DS was only compatible for use in the EU and not in the UK as it did not come with a UK adaptor. Obviously, I was disappointed as I was concerned it would not work the same. However, it does, thankfully. Of course I had to go and buy a UK adaptor though. Although it was cheap, I feel that there should have been something in the item description to say that it was suitable for the EU and not UK...

I have used Amazon a lot in the past year as I use it to buy DVDs for some of my favourite TV series which are not readily available in the UK, or if they are available they are rather expensive. On Amazon, you can buy them straight from the distributors in the US at a reasonable price and you have a good range of prices to choose from depending on the condition of the item, you can buy second hand if you want to.. BUYING: My experience as a buyer at Amazon has been pleasant. ...Amazon has been around for a number of years now, and is now rated as the best online bookstore around. When you think of Amazon you immediately think of books but they sell much more then that. They now stock videos, DVDs, cds, tapes, books and now have a connection on their site to places like toys are us. This is fine and obviously should be really good but over the last year the prices have been creeping up and up. Amazon is competing with a number of other online stores and at the moment seems to be coming out best, but if the prices carry on rising like they have been then I am sure that people will be taking business else wear. ...Easy to use website, selling pretty much anything I need or want at very competitve prices. They offer a variety of delivery options and in general are very quick. Have only had a few problems with them, which have been sorted out relatively quickly. They are quick to respond to any queries and are always helpful. What makes Amazon even better is that I can also sell old games, cds, DVD's and the like that I no longer need and make a bit of extra money at the same time. The only to remember is that you have to pay them a small fee for all items sold however you dont have to pay for listing items or if an item fails to sell. Would recommend to anyone both for purchases and for selling old / unwanted items....
