...I've owned a Corolla Verso T-spirit (automatic) for a year now, and its been fantastic. We've a little boy and a baby girl, and it is an ideal family car for us...transporting them and their parapharnalia is relatively painless! I had testdrives in its MPV competitors and this came out the best as it met our needs - a spacious family car which is easy to drive. The car itself is very spacious, lots of head and legroom with tons of storage pockets and drinks holders - I'm still finding new ones! In the front the dashboard and controls are attractive and modern looking, and it has a nice leather steering wheel. All the dials and controls are easy to read and use, and the passenger and driver seats have arm rests making an already comfortable ride luxurious. Seats are comfortable as are the seat belts, and the seat heights in the front...

Toyota Corolla T3 hatchback

Advantages: Good safety
Disadvantages: front door design fault

...We brought a brand new Toyota Corolla T3 hatchback from a local dealer last September when there was a special offer i.e. slight reduction in price. When we were test-driving the car (slightly older model), it was good with power-steering, sensitive brakes and air-conditioning respond very fast. It was a hot and sunny day and within a minute of pressing the button, cold air was already filling the car. Excellent. The trim looks good and the price was reasonably good 12k sterling before the haggle begins. The dealer was quite helpful as well for obvious reasons. Once we have got the slightly newer version of it. It look slightly different. The main change is curtain air-bag at the side. These curtain air-bag will protect you from side-impact - good safety feature to have with the car is already renowned for its safety...

Toyota Corolla 1.3XLi

Advantages: Nippy,economical, reliable, ggod instrument layout
Disadvantages: Maybe a little cramped for the taller person

...This car was 3 years old when I bought it (£5K) and I kept it until I reluctantly had to let it go 2 years later. Although the model has been superceded now, I actually prefer the old shape to the latest incarnation. The car was a 5 door hatchback and therefore had good access for the family and reasonable space for luggage in the boot. It was reasonably comfortable to drive although I found it a little cramped on long journeys but I think that is probably more due to my long legs than the car. Whilst the ride was soft, with the light body the car has plenty of ooomph (which is good right through the rev range) and is one of the most economical cars of that size I've come in contact with (All thanks to the excellent 16v engine). I have no hesitation in backing up all they say about Toyota build quality as I didn't have an ounce...

I have the T Spirit petrol 1800 cc VVT-i, 05 reg. This vehicle hosts a varied amount of equipment, which makes it second from the top within this model range. I?ll start with the shape of the vehicle with its slick lines and up to date looks and one of the only models with roof rails. This model also has alloy wheels. One of its bad points is visibility in the rear side windows. Unlike its rivals I don?t think it looks like a MPV but more like a normal five-seated hatch back. Advantages: Good on petrol,nippy.
Disadvantages: back seat space restricted,boot space restricted,feeling of being quite low down.

I found the various dealerships varied quite a lot in terms of customer services prior to a sale. Once the sale had been completed, the aftersalesare second to none. --Dealerships -- I visited dealerships throughout the Midlands in order to find my dream car, my findings are as follows :- Listers Toyota - Coventry This was the first dealer I visited. I was allowed to view the cars on the forecourt with no pressure from the salesman. The cars however were not presented in tip-top condition in my opinion. For example, car seats were left dirty, trim had not been tidied up, etc. When I got talking to the salesman he didnt appear that helpful, basically laughing me down when I told him what car I was looking...

Spacious and flexible family transport

Advantages: Good family MPV

...I have covered 5000 miles in my 08 plate Toyota Corolla Verso SR D4D (140bhp) mini MPV in silver. It can be a two seater with a boot the size of a small van (a blow up double mattress will lie flat in the back) a spacious 5 seater with ample head, leg and shoulder room all round and a large boot big enough for a dog cage and push chair or a 7 seater minibus (with very limited boot space - enough for a few squashed up coats). It has cruise control, a six speed manual gearbox, rear parking sensors, all round alloys with disk brakes and front fog lights. The CD player also reads mp3 format disks. Best of all it has duel zone climate control and rear privacy glass to help keep it cool. When driving around town the computer shows that I average 60 mpg and on the motorway over 70 mpg. Toyota Starlet GT

Advantages: Fuel Economy, Fast, Comfortable, reliable, head turning looks.
Disadvantages: Need an aftermarket fog light as these cars are imports.

...First of all i will begin my review of the Toyota Starlet GT by giving you a brief history of the vehicle. The first model of the Starlet GT (chassis code EP82) was produced in 1990 and continued on through until 1995 when production was ceased.The code given to the engine used was 4-EFTE. During the 5 years of manufacture the GT went through a slight cosmetic change from having square lamps at the front (pre <94 models) to having rounded headlights. I have been a member of a few starlet enthusiast clubs for a while now and this newer model ( post 94>) tends to be called a "quadlight model". Also the post 94> models had a revised tailgate from the pre <94 models, the difference being a reflective strip being removed from between the rear tail lights. I personally own a Toyota Starlet GT so i will be talking from my own experiences...
