Toyota Corolla Verso
Advantages: great
Disadvantages: none
...I've owned a Corolla Verso T-spirit (automatic) for a year now, and its been fantastic. We've a little boy and a baby girl, and it is an ideal family car for us...transporting them and their parapharnalia is relatively painless! I had testdrives in its MPV competitors and this came out the best as it met our needs - a spacious family car which is easy to drive.
The car itself is very spacious, lots of head and legroom with tons of storage pockets and drinks holders - I'm still finding new ones! In the front the dashboard and controls are attractive and modern looking, and it has a nice leather steering wheel. All the dials and controls are easy to read and use, and the passenger and driver seats have arm rests making an already comfortable ride luxurious. Seats are comfortable as are the seat belts, and the seat heights in the front...

Toyota corolla Verso T Spirit petrol 1800 cc VVT-i
Advantages: Feels and is very reliable car, great looks,
Disadvantages: bad visibility in the rear due to small side windows
...The Toyota Verso comes in six models. Starting with the T2 the base model,T3, the TR which comes with blacked out windows, Bluetooth connection and multi CD changer, T Spirit and the sport T 180.
I have the T Spirit petrol 1800 cc VVT-i, 05 reg. This vehicle hosts a varied amount of equipment, which makes it second from the top within this model range.
I?ll start with the shape of the vehicle with its slick lines and up to date looks and one of the only models with roof rails. This model also has alloy wheels. One of its bad points is visibility in the rear side windows. Unlike its rivals I don?t think it looks like a MPV but more like a normal five-seated hatch back. But this is not the case as it has two very easy to fold out seats in the back, still with a bit of room for any luggage. When the seats are not in place...

T2 Verso, affordable Versatility.
Advantages: Reliable, Economical, Spacious, Versatile
Disadvantages: Assymetrical rear lights ;)
...The day I got my Verso, I sat down to write a review. When I was nearly finished, Internet Explorer did something funny and erased everything! Maybe that was better, because now, 4 months later, I have used the car in a wide variety of ways and I am much better equipped to write a proper review.
OVERVIEW
----------------
Toyota's marketing line for the Corolla Verso and indeed its name, suggests that the car was made with versatility in mind. This for me has certainly been the case. I have used my Verso to move house with, I have used to transport family to and from the airport and I even use it to deliver pizzas with! It has delivered in every way and I am extremely happy with it. In fact, I believe that for me, no better car exists, and I have owned many different cars, from an 18 year old Toyota Carina to a 740iL BMW...

Toyota, the drive of my life? Nah!
Advantages: Power steering, hidey holes, compact, fuel consumption.
Disadvantages: Drives terribly, terrible to reverse
...When an Ambulance dinted my little Renault Clio I was pleased when my insurance offered me a hire car. I was even more excited when I was told that my hire car was going to be a 1.3 automatic Toyota Yaris. It had been a long time since I had driven an automatic and I had always liked the look of the Toyota.
Unfortunately, the Yaris is one of the worst new cars I have ever driven. To be fair, let us start with the good things. It looks the part in jet black and it is certainly one of the prettier compact hatchbacks available. Also, despite appearing very small, the adverts are true. It is very roomy for driver and passengers and has loads of little hidey holes and pockets. The boot room is a bit tidgy and the glovebox is tiny but the back seats collapse completely turning the Yaris into the World's smallest minivan.
In regards to...

The new Toyota Yaris 1.3 VVT-i T3 petrol
Advantages: Amazing.. in all categories
Disadvantages: door pockets too narrow
...Back in 2006 I had left a Review on the old toyota yaris T-spirit 1.0. What can I say??? I have now upgraded to the new model and it's even better than the old one. At first I wasn't too conviced by the different shape but soon grew to love it. I call it my bubble now.
I find this car excellent in all ways. I'm a driving instructor so the selling feature at the time was knowing that I would be protected by 9 airbags! And trust me ...in my job that is very reassuring. I find that the clutch control is excellent. Its very hard to stall in it. Hill starts are a breeze and being a 1.3 its very nippy and won't let you down. Vey easy to manoevre both forwards and backwards. Holds corners very well indeed! Doesn't consume a considerable amount of petrol. As my learners have said "it looks cool"!
Again the driver's seat can...

Spacious and flexible family transport
Advantages: Good family MPV
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to competition
...I have covered 5000 miles in my 08 plate Toyota Corolla Verso SR D4D (140bhp) mini MPV in silver.
It can be a two seater with a boot the size of a small van (a blow up double mattress will lie flat in the back) a spacious 5 seater with ample head, leg and shoulder room all round and a large boot big enough for a dog cage and push chair or a 7 seater minibus (with very limited boot space - enough for a few squashed up coats).
It has cruise control, a six speed manual gearbox, rear parking sensors, all round alloys with disk brakes and front fog lights. The CD player also reads mp3 format disks. Best of all it has duel zone climate control and rear privacy glass to help keep it cool.
When driving around town the computer shows that I average 60 mpg and on the motorway over 70 mpg. However this is about 10% over the real...

Toyota Prius - We Should All Have One
Advantages: Low CO2 - Good MPG (if driven in the way it should be)
Disadvantages: Not the prettiest car in the world
...Toyota Prius Review - "Hybrid Heaven"
Want to achieve over 60mpg? Want to avoid congestion charge? Want to pay low benefit in kind tax? You can now do all this and more in comfortable well built, well specified large automatic hatchback whilst saving the planet at the same time. Sound too good true? It's not.
Everyone has heard of hybrid cars, but I suspect very few people have actually ever driven one, because if they had, all you would ever see on the roads of the UK would be people driving Toyota Prius.
Now I am not coming at this from any kind of virtuous green position, I am simply testing a car, to see how good it is and the answer in this case is a resounding "very good".
I had tested the much acclaimed Honda Civic Hybrid over a 2 week period which we didn't like. We found it impossible to achieve any...
