...I got this pool from a friend, and it is a good thing to have in the summer time.It is a good way to keep your child cool on a hot summers day. They can just sit down in the water and splash around. You can many different sizes and shapes, ranging from a little two ring blow up one, which is ok for one little child, up to a big one for more kids. The one i have is a white and blue one with fishes on it. It comes from a toy store costs about £12.00. It is quite a big one so takes time to fill up, that is the only drawback. ...Well, it’s that time of the year again. You know, the one where you save up large amounts of cash, only to plough it all into one day – December 25th. This is usually when I make my annual trip to Toys R Us and this year is no exception. With mum-in-law accompanying me and £200 restlessly trying to burst out of my purse, we set off for the whole shopping experience. Toys R Us is usually ideal for us, as the kids are aged 5, 8, 9 and 11, so it is handy to be able to buy everything in one place. I’m not sure how long this will be the place though, as it seemed quite hard to find enough for my 11 and 8 year old daughters, although there were loads for my other two. ...It's not very often that I get to visit our local Toys R Us. Although it is in the town centre it's in the opposite direction to most of the other shops so I only really go there when I can't find what I'm after elsewhere. It was my sons first birthday a few months ago and having searched all over town to no avail I decided it was time to pay a visit. So I left him at home with his dad and me and my daughter went shopping. On arrival at the store you are greeted with signs asking you to either leave your other shopping in the car or behind the counter and collect it on your way out. I pressume that this is to make it harder for the shop lifters and I guess it works as I noticed a distinct lack of security guards. The shop itself is huge and is literally an Aladdins cave. ...I dont very often frequent huge shops such as this, infact I hate shopping.......unless its over the internet. But on a few occassions such as christmas or birthdays toys are us is where I go as the wide selection of GOODIES offers me more choice than the internet ever can. As is often the case, timing is the essence when planning a trip to TOYS R US. If you want to go after 4pm then good luck as it will be the most headache inducing experience, starting from the inevitable 'FIND A SPACE FOR THE CAR'to check out and going home. Queues are the main reason I hate shopping. I am so impatient and have been know to start arguing with these, what I call AWKWARD customers who make it their mission in life to ANNOY me......a subject I wont go into at this point. ...As a mother of 3 children, all under the age of 11, a visit to Toys r Us with them is an absolute nightmare (for the parents, that is!). As soon as you enter the store in Liverpool city centre, the first thing that catches the eye of our kids is the vast array of sweets! Not just packets of sweets, but enormous bags that could feed half my street! Once we have managed to navigate our way past them, you enter every child's fantasy world - a store filled from floor to ceiling with every possible toy you could imagine. I would say that 70% of the toys are overpriced, but, if you are shopping for Christmas, you have the convenience of it all being under one roof, albeit costly. If Santa ran the Toys R Us operation around the Christmas period then (A) There would be a lot of pissed off children without presents and (B) There would be a lot of elves and reindeers down the local job centre. ...Over the last couple of years, I have probably spent over £1000 pounds in Toys R Us. Every Christmas, we trawl for hours around the Leicester or Northampton store, in an attempt to find everything in one go. Birthday party invitations mean yet another trip, and our own children’s birthdays mean that yet more time is spent there. ...Who would have know toy's r us is not just the best and biggest toy shop around but its brilliant for babies. It has everything in 1 place, when i was pregnant with my son {he's now 14 months} my partner and i ventured in to toys r us basically just to look at toys our son might use in the future but wow what a surprise it was to me yes it had every single toy any child could ever dream of but also had everything to fill my needs for my unborn child. It has everything cots,prams,car seats,safety gates,rockerchairs and if that wasn't enough its sells all the esencials such as baby wipes, nappies,bottles ,sterilising tablets and so the list goes on. So if i cant find what i need elsewhere i know i can depend on toys r us... Read review

...For such a big toy store I just can't beleive how bare the shelves are every time I go into Toys'R'Us. On every occasion I have ever been to this shop the shelves have always been empty.At first I thought I had missed all the offers or something,but then after several visits I realised the shelves were constantly empty. I went at christmas hoping to come away with all my son's xmas presents and after spending nearly one hour in there all I walked away with was a jigsaw.After much dissapointment I decided to try Mothercare World which is just next door to Toys'R'Us and I came away with nearly everything I needed for my son. You may be thinking well it was xmas but I actually went in October to avoid the mad rush and all the best toys going.Not only that I also went again in January for again my son,this time his birthday...
