...I have read some excellent OPINIONS of E-TRADE written by experienced traders. I would like to thank them one and all. My OPINION is one of a NEW E-TRADER. I find E-TRADE very easy to use. Type in a company name, get their stock symbol and voila! You will find quotes, daily ranges, charts, profiles, news, 52 wk. highs and lows, etc.---everything you need to begin. Although, I do not rely solely on the information E-TRADE offers. I also use AOL stock info and any other applicable sites when researching a particular stock. I find AOL'S s research reports and news to be more informative than E-TRADE's in general. I could not live without E-TRADE'S free real-time quotes. As a new investor that 20 minute delay just drives me up a wall. E-TRADE does not update your portfolio in real-time however. You can use the real-time quotes... Read review

...Let me first make a big, big disclaimer. Like recycling, this is one of those scams that even the most normal people believe in. And, also, it's not all a scam. Behind fair trade, like behind recycling, there are good motives. Everybody wants the world to be a fairer, nicer place to be. The thought of helping people out who are in severe poverty is a whole-heartedly good thing. I use to have a trading account with my bank but this company offers more than your high street bank. It is originally an American company but now operates in the UK as well. It is a flexible company and you can use them to buy shares in all London Stock Exchange listed companies and also New York Stock Exchange listed companies. ...A few months ago after watching a documentary on the cocoa industry in Africa I decided that I needed to do a little something to help. Fair trade is a standard whereby the cocoa producers in Africa are held to and guaranteed a price for their cocoa beans if they adhere to the standards. These include ethical treatment of workers, not using child labour and generally producing in a social and environmentally good way. I love chocolate, in fact I'd chew my own arm off for a chocolate bar, so this for me was a big ask when I decided to give up non fair trade bars. What shocked me the most was the child labour, depriving children of the right to go to school to work at backbreaking jobs in the coca fields. The thing that struck me the most? ...At www.tradingstandards.gov.uk, is instant online help for any queries, issues and difficulties that you may be receiving from services, retailers that is within your consumer rights. I personally had not heard of trading standards and was so afraid of it being complicated and worried that I would have hassles with solicitors, that I would always try my own methods of solving a purchase problem that is not at all satisfactory. However I assumed they might have an online service, which I found through google, which made the issue a little less daunting to deal with. The first time Courts had ripped me off. Please don't buy from them. After saving up for ages for a double bed, it was delivered but bumpy. They did send eventually after many calls and revisiting the store a person out to inspect. As I investigated the reviews I came across a phrase that is the best place to start reviewing The Analysis Of Noise Trading: "Architect's newest album is not one for the meek or the mild". Yep, that hits the old nail right on the head. The Analysis Of Noise Trading is loud, it is full of overlapping rhythms, of beats, of random sounds, of samples, of distortion, of glitches. Yes, it is heavily industrial, it is immersive, the sound is large, sometimes booming but it is also fluid, controlled, beautifully constructed and the whole album works as a piece: it might jag and jar within tracks but the whole album just cascades before the senses. ...Based on my previous experiences, I would definitely buy a new car from Trade Sales again. I have bought 2 cars from Trade Sales so far. The first was a used car (six months old) for my husband, the second a brand new car for myself. Before purchasing both vehicles, we checked Trade Sales website to see whether they had the cars we were interested in in stock. In both cases, we knew which types of vehicle we wanted and we found the website very user-friendly and were able to locate specific models immediately. Under each make of car, e.g. Peugeot there is a list of each model available; under these sub-sections the web-site will tell you how many cars of each colour are in stock, how many have been reserved, how many are on order, etc. etc. It is much easier to buy a new car from Trade Sales rather than a used car...
