...I was discussing taps with my daughter a month or two ago as she was having a new bathroom fitted. A few years ago now we had new taps fitted and I investigated all types of tap trying to get the perfect tap .We looked at the various kinds of taps, their ease of use their looks their price. I remember talking about traditional chrome taps with her. Chrome taps are a good choice as they go with most bathroom and sink colour choices they are the standard silver colour. Traditional taps are the ones with a cross top handle that you twist to turn the water on. You can buy mixer traditional style taps but I prefer individual hot and cold taps They will have an H or a C printed in the centre of the cross handle. There are many tap designs nowadays so I do not think these traditional cross top ones are really that popular...

...I have been using Boots Traditional Skin Care Cold Cream for a number of years and have always been very satisfied with the product. I have also introduced my daughter to it and neither of us had any problems with the original formulation. However the most recent jars we have bought burns both our eyes and faces. It is also much thicker and harder to remove make-up. The formulation is different as I have compared the ingredients list on the new jar with the list on my previous jar and it is different. We are very disappointed with the new formulation and two very disgruntled customers will not be purchasing this Boots product again unless we can have the old formulation back. ...well thumbed as children find their favourite rhyme and run their finger along the text as they read the rhyme. It contains 28 nursery rhymes including "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Humpty Dumpty", "Jack and Jill" and "Baa Baa Black Sheep". One of the things I like about it is that it does have mostly well known traditional rhymes and not too many obscure ones. Each Nursery Rhyme is on its own page with the pictures being either a single picture such as Jack Horner sitting under the rhyme or a picture showing the main characters of the rhyme in a setting. The illustrations themselves are simple and colourful and children easily recognise the characters and can say which rhyme they are from. The characters do look old fashioned, mainly because of what they are wearing but because they are nursery rhymes children don't question this...

My other half managed to find the hole and with the magic of Gaffa Tape fixed it. All in all the Playnest is visually stimulating, soft and cosy, and quite easy to clean. It's a bit of a pain to put together and as you have read not much use for me, but I can see how it could be very useful for some children who are less intent on exploring the room.
