...I've been meaning to read a Will Self book for a long time now, I thought it might sound impressive at parties if I could drop in the fact that I'd just read the latest Will Self book and said something suitably impressive like how the book was a singular and inquisitive commentary on modern contemporary living with a twist of age-old tradition behind each phrase taking the reader on a satisfying journey of discovery and adventure. Then I thought I never get invited to parties anyway and even if I did and I then said something like that, I'd probably get thumped! So I've stuck safely to my staple diet of modern day thrillers and police detective novels and decided to take a very safe route into the world of Will Self. My friend has been and since it has opened new, there are even more savings to be made, she bough a bike and a scooter, and she thinks she saved a packet. This is a store which makes you relive your childhood again, as you walk through the isles you see toys you played with all the traditional games and the new ones their. Children now have never had it so good. I always find the staff helpful and very knowledgeable, they can quickly instruct you to where something is, and even look to order you something if they have ran out. ...I was discussing taps with my daughter a month or two ago as she was having a new bathroom fitted. A few years ago now we had new taps fitted and I investigated all types of tap trying to get the perfect tap .We looked at the various kinds of taps, their ease of use their looks their price. I remember talking about traditional chrome taps with her. Chrome taps are a good choice as they go with most bathroom and sink colour choices they are the standard silver colour. Traditional taps are the ones with a cross top handle that you twist to turn the water on. You can buy mixer traditional style taps but I prefer individual hot and cold taps They will have an H or a C printed in the centre of the cross handle. There are many tap designs nowadays so I do not think these traditional cross top ones are really that popular... Read review

Do you remember the kettle that went on to the gas ring, that was round and made a noise through the spout when boiled, well it is very similar to this. It is round but has a length the roundness, it has your chunky handle, and the lid has a chunky round knob. The spout is not very long, but wide. ...Must admit I was really lucky growing up as a child. I was the only child so I pretty much got all the different makes of toys I wanted. Like all children I was always going through phases of what I liked through the years. I remember having some great toys back then and have still actually got some boxes saved in Mum and Dads loft of quite a few of them. Let me take you through the top 10 that I can remember having… 1. Star wars figures. These were my all time favourite toys. ...The product I will now review is "TOY STORY THE ULTIMATE TOY BOX", I have been a fan of these films for ages, but never thought about reviewing them until my daughter prompted me recently due to the fact we have to now watch them twice daily! (I have a three year old son who is obsessed with the cowboy toy!) ~~~~~~ THE DVD CASE ~~~~~~ I know it seems a little ridiculous to start a review on a dvd case, but it's so beautifully decorated and bright I feel it needs a mention. The dvd's are held in a four layer fold out case, on the outside of this is of course pictures of the main characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear. On the inside of the case are pictures of some characters featured in Toy Story 2, including Jesse and Bullseye the horse. On top of these pictures are the dvd's themselves all with picture tops, but I will get to those... Read review
