...History Dover Priory Train Station was first opened on 22 July 1861. It was originally called Dover Town but was renamed Dover Priory in 1863. The name Dover Priory was taken from the remains of St Martins Priory which was situated close to the station. Dover Priory Train Station suffered greatly during the war and was actually the first place in Dover that was bombed. Dover Priory Dover Priory is the only train station in Dover and is located about a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Dover. There is a free shuttle bus which runs from the train station to Dover Docks. In August 2006 Dover Priory train station was renovated. ...I'm a fan of more traditional toys. Toys that encourage learning, discovery and pretend play. I find, however, that many of the toys available today fall short and, in effect, play with themselves. V-Tech toys seem to form a bit of a half-way house between modern, all singing, all dancing toys and the older-fashioned toys where discovery was key and, as such, have been a bit of a favourite in our house. They provide the modern, button pushing, light flashing, noise making satisfaction that modern toddlers seem to love but without just giving it to the toddler on a plate, devoid of learning experience.   Beware of "Strangers on a Train"

Advantages: Fabulous story, fabulous atmosphere and fabulous acting
Disadvantages: A very few irksome things but neglible

...the start where you see two men walking towards the train from outside the station, through the platform but you only see their shoes and smartly-trousered legs. Bruno wears rather flashy black and white shoes whilst Guy wears sensible black shoes. Their meeting on the train only happens when Guy sits down and crosses his legs and accidentally kicks Bruno?s foot and apologises which gives Bruno an opening to start a conversation. If Guy hadn?t kicked him, one wonders how Bruno would have started up the conversation but it?s obvious that he would have managed somehow. From the very start we see two very different characters in Guy and Bruno. Bruno is bubbly and chatty and flatters Guy?s ego, whereas Guy is initially flattered by the attention from a supposed fan but we see very quickly he clams up when Bruno starts making comments about Guy...

Are you a train Virgin?

Advantages: fast, few delays
Disadvantages: occasional delays, cost if booked late

...It's coming up for the party season again so I have recently spent rather a lot of time making travel arrangements, one method of travel I seem to utilise rather alot these days comes in the shape of the West Coast Mainline, between Manchester/Stockport and London Euston, while in a previous life time I was very familiar with the Manchester/Edinburgh section of this same line, this route is operated by Virgin Trains and has been for several years. Thankfully these days the booking process is somewhat easier than it used to be, having to go in to the train station to book tickets I always found a somewhat draining experience as there was invariably a queue of people apparently wanting to purchase tickets for the next train due and only one counter open, now you can book online at one of several sites, my preference is virgins own, but...

Train Your Sight with Nintendo DS Sight Training!

Advantages: a good cheap game to play!
Disadvantages: Each days training is a ltitle short.

...Blockbuster, it wasn't in the DS box, was just loose, and cost £2, it works just as the game would if it had it's box, but there was no instruction leaflet or box to hold it; if you can get it preowned I would, as it cuts the cost down alot. But, if you are buying new the game costs between £7 and £10 from Game shops (GameStation, Game) and off the internet. It is a very good price, and much less than many Nintendo DS games, some of which cost £30. It is well worth the price you pay for the game, and if I couldn't have got this game pre owned, I would have been more than happy to pay the full price for Sight Training. Train your eyes?

Advantages: Fun to do and does help with some skills
Disadvantages: Would probably get a bit repetitive over time

...Having recently bought a Nintendo DS and enjoyed the Brain Training I was intrigued when I saw the new Sight Training for DS on sale in my local supermarket. Ever curious (and being keen to retain as many of my faculties as possible) I decided to buy it and see what it offered. Intially this product seemed quite similar in format to the Brain Training package I already had however I was pleased to see that it didn't have the rather irritating Dr Kawashima but seemed to offer something slightly more serious. The aim of the package is to offer the opportunity to train your 'vision' and alongside that there is the facility to test your eyesight and work out your 'Eye Age'. Rather interestingly the tests you get to perform are actually based on your 'Eye Age' so it is suggested that you check this something like three times a week...

And, to be honest, had not taken much notice of it.
