In the night garden ninky nonk train set

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

  Beware of "Strangers on a Train"

Advantages: Fabulous story, fabulous atmosphere and fabulous acting
Disadvantages: A very few irksome things but neglible

Tesco trains

...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages,sign and mountains all for £24...

...I have 6 young nephews all are train mad and the all have the ELC train sets. You know the ones I mean wooden tracks and engines that cost a fortune. Well come Chritmas and birthdays buying for them all is a nightmare so i usually end up getting them additions to their trainsets but find the early learning ones a bit pricy, a single engine is around £5 and a set of 4 wooden people will se you back £4. So while doing me grocery shopping I decided to stop off at the toy secion in Tesco to see if there was anything suitable for nephew who was turning 3 years old. ...It's coming up for the party season again so I have recently spent rather a lot of time making travel arrangements, one method of travel I seem to utilise rather alot these days comes in the shape of the West Coast Mainline, between Manchester/Stockport and London Euston, while in a previous life time I was very familiar with the Manchester/Edinburgh section of this same line, this route is operated by Virgin Trains and has been for several years. Thankfully these days the booking process is somewhat easier than it used to be, having to go in to the train station to book tickets I always found a somewhat draining experience as there was invariably a queue of people apparently wanting to purchase tickets for the next train due and only one counter open, now you can book online at one of several sites, my preference is virgins own, but...

Train Your Sight with Nintendo DS Sight Training!

...I got my DS a couple of Christmas' ago, and with it I got the Dr Kowashima Brain Training, the game is great, and although you never complete it in that the game ends and you can go no further without starting again, there are only a few of the little games on there, and it gets that way that your only using the game for half an hour each day. So when I saw a new game called Sight Training, with the same kind of packaging and design, I really wanted it. The game isn't by Dr Kawashima but has very very similar packaging as to make it look as though it is, whether it is made by the same company but not endorsed by the same "Dr Kawashima" I don't know, but it is much like the original Brain Training game in the way the packaging looks, and even the way the game is set out and played.
