Kingston 1Gb Flash Drive
Review of Kingston DataTraveler I - USB flash drive - 1 GB by
craggybuk
Advantages: Compact, fast, reliable
Disadvantages: Lack of transportation strap
...I remember when USB flash drives hit the market a few years back when you could fit a staggering 16Mb worth of data on a device the size of your middle finger. Since then capacity has increased and prices have decreased at an alarming rate. For example you can now get 4Gb flash drives for cheaper than the original 16Mb drives which represents great value for money.
--Whats in the box --
Contents of the box are minimalistic to say the least, there is the drive itself and a little strap which you can then use to attach the drive to your belt/keyring, etc. This device really is plug and play in its simplest form, there arent even any instructions supplied with it, mainly because none are required.
-- Useage --
Plugging the drive into a spare USB slot will give you an extra drive in Windows Explorer (My Computer) typically F...

Victorinox Swissbit USB flash drive - 1 GB
Review of Swissbit SWISSMEMORY USB Victorinox retroALOX - USB flash drive - 1 GB by
Itstar77
Advantages: Durable and Well built. Nice Design.
Disadvantages: Doesn't have any Swiss Army Knife accessories.
...and Apple Macs with no problems. The manufacturers claim that it will work with USB 1.1 ports but it doesn't work with those in my keyboard. The transfer of data is as fast as any other flash drive I have used. The drive comes preloaded with security software to prevent unauthorised access to your data although this only seems to be compatible with Windows machines.
I picked this stick up for £15 which is a bit expensive for the amount of storage but not too bad.
Overall this a decent USB stick that works well and is a more attractive design than most. It feels very durable and well put together. The 1 GB model is large enough for everyday use although there are larger sizes available. Some people may prefer Victorinox's other USB Swiss Army Knives which have the usual knife and accessories in addition to the USB stick. However...

A drive that will last a lifetime!
Review of Transcend JetFlash V10 - USB flash drive - 8 GB by
shaaza
Advantages: very fast, very secure, very small, comes with a neck strap, has a lifetime warranty
Disadvantages: uumm doesn't come in many colours
...I bought this 8GB Transcend Jet flash V10 a few days after the New Year. As you know I'm the sort of person who likes to walk around with lots of memory around me as I got loads of junk to keep.
With the January sales flying around I had to walk around the shops and surf the net looking for real bargains. That's when I came across the 8GB Transcend Flash Drive for only £24.99 on Moby memory website, which is an internet shop that's sells a lot of gadgets mainly to do with mobiles and digital cameras. I did not stop their, I quickly added my 8GB Transcend Flash Drive to the basket and checked out, although I had to pay extra money for the delivery which was rather cheap.
I really did not want to miss the chance of buying this 8GB Transcend V10 Flash Drive for the reason that I knew it would keep thousands of files including all...

Sony Micro Vault Tiny - USB flash drive - 1 GB
Review of Sony Micro Vault Tiny - USB flash drive - 1 GB by
Itstar77
Advantages: Stylish design. Available in a variety of colours.
Disadvantages: Too small and easy to lose. Flimsy carrying pouch.
...Sony's Microvault Tiny flash drives have been available for some time now and like other USB pen drives they are coming down in price and are available in increasing capacities.
The pen drive itself is very easy to use. It works fine on Windows machines and Apple Macs. A small green light shows when data is being transferred. Like other pen drives they offer a highly durable way to store and transport files.
What sets these pen drives apart from the rest are their looks. The design is very stylish and futuristic and in my view these are some of the nicest looking pen drives out there. They are available in a variety of colours, depending on the capacity of the drive. They are also the smallest and thinnest pen drives I have seen - smaller in real life than in the picture. It's amazing how much information can be stored...

Viking USB 2.0 Flash Drive 1GB
Review of Viking USB 2.0 Drive USB flash drive - 1 GB by
bindie
Advantages: Small, High Capacity, Quick Transfer Rate
Disadvantages: None As Yet
....
There is a light on it that tells you when it has connected and it flashes when data is either being read, or is being written to the pen.
It has the capacity to hold a lot of different types of files. This cheap pen would be more than enough to transfer data from one computer to another quickly and easily.
I would recommend this pen to anyone. I have found no problems with it so far. The only other product I would consider buying instead of this pen is the 2GB version, which costs a lot more....

1GB of Fleur - Sucking not recommended
Review of SanDisk Cruzer Fleur - USB flash drive - 1 GB by
1st2thebar
Advantages: 1GB of data storage
Disadvantages: colour and the gimmick
...**SanDisk Cruzer Fleur - USB Flash Drive -- 1GB**
- Welcome to the 'Pink dummy' flash drive -
*- A small summary -*
SanDisk, has the highest volumn as in (sales per unit) for data storage. -- No other data storage business has the retail portfolio that SanDisk boasts. Their Headquaters are based in California, so it is understandable that they have decided to design a 'California Girl' pink version. Going for the girlie market, it appears ScanDisk have opted for the most gimick orientated portable drive ever. Hands-up if you like this dummy.
Their site is:

Dr. Eli Harari in 1988; designed the most smallest memory card; It wasn't marketed till the early 1990's, and by 1997, the portable drive became a household compliance. The memory Keys were to be exported to over 200,000 major retail outlets.
