transcend is as good as other manufacturers
Review of Transcend 2 GB SD Card 150x by
FirstToTry
Advantages: fast, value for money, vista readyboost compatible
Disadvantages: none
...The 2Gb SD card from Transcend should be your first choice, often looked at as inferior to kingston and other manufactures however the performance of the card is the same and by comparing the prices you get more for what you pay.
Fast transmission from card to pc and large capacity; with a 6 megapixel camera which is standard these days you can store around 600-700 pictures which is more than enough for a whole holiday.
You can also use the sd card for vista's readyboost function - simply insert the card in a slot (or card reader) and if you are not automatically promted/given choice what to do next, go to my computer and right click on the sd card icon. choose property and then navigate to the readyboost tab, where you can choose how much memory you want to make available to readyboost.
What is readyboost? It is a feature within...

Transcend - buy over Sandisk!
Review of Transcend TS8GSDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB by
technosplat
Advantages: Very fast transfer rate, strong, looks good, smells pretty, cheap
Disadvantages: None
...I am very impressed!
After recently upgrading from my Canon 350D to 450D I needed a high capacity, fast memory card as the 450 takes SD (secure digital) not CF (compact flash) as the 350 does.
As a professional photographer it's vital that I have the best kit I can afford. I was a little worried about buying Transcend over Sandisk, but with such a huge financial saving I thought I'd give Transcend a go. I'm very glad I did!
The Transcend 8Gb SDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory card performs excellently - trandfer speeds are very very good. It's rated at 'speed 6', the same as the most expensive Sandisk Ultra cards selling for over twice the price.
One thing to mention - SDHC cards cannot be read by all memory card readers - generall only the newer ones will read SD cards over 2Gb.
I would highly recommend this card...

iPod Nano 2GB Silver
Review of Apple iPod nano 2 GB by
Up-High-Down-Low
Advantages: Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Crashes From Time To Time
...iPod Nano 2GB Silver
The iPod Nano 2GB Silver is a great MP3 Player with many features. The iPod its self is very durable and they very rarely break. You can't buy these iPods from many stores, as there are now later versions on the market. This iPod is a colour screen but you can't play any videos.
The only problem that I have experienced with my iPod Nano is from time to time it crashes. There is a reset code in the user manual, which you have to use when this happens. My iPod crashed at least once a month. Other than that I have never experienced any problems with my iPod Nano. This iPod Nano holds up to 500 songs which is great. The sound quality of the music playback is excellent. You can view photos but as the screen is very small the photo quality isn't excellent.
Browsing music is very easy with the iPod Nano. You can...

Corsair DDR2 6400C4 800mhz 2GB (2x1GB pair)
Review of Corsair XMS2 DRAM 2 GB PC2-5400 by
ClockworkUniverse42
Advantages: Excellent speeds, reliable, very cheap, decent overclocking potential
Disadvantages: Slightly poor quality of heatsink
...Unfortunately the link to the Corsair XMS2 DRAM 2GB PC2-6400 C4 only goes to this page. So here's where I'll write my review!
I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product - low price, high quality.
At the moment, unless you're running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. That's why I recommend this 2GB set to everyone I help construct computers. Not only it is fast, and so brilliant for games of all sorts, it's also cheap, so it's great for those with more...

IPOD NANO 2GB, SILVER
Review of Apple iPod nano 2 GB by
african_grey
Advantages: great sound and volume, great picture quality
Disadvantages: no video playback and scratches easily
...Well what can I say for the ipod nano 2gb apart from it rocks!!!!!
I first heard about the ipod nano about 6 months after it was put onto the shelves of nearly every electronic and audio store in the country, the first I saw of it was when my younger sister came to see me and had one with her, I was amazed as id only owned a basic mp3 player and a CD walkman (how sad).
After playing around with the ipod nano she had I realised what all the fuss was about with them and the younger generation, so I went out and got a silver 2GB ipod nano for myself, I paid £150 for it and to be honest I think I got ripped off as many people have paid much less for a 2gb than that.
When I got home that day I was very impressed with my purchase, it came in a very dinky plastic white box with a white USB lead and white head phones, everything in the small...

Ipod Nano 2Gb 1st Generation
Review of Apple iPod nano 2 GB by
dwarven87
Advantages: Small, light-weight and simple
Disadvantages: Scratches Easily and iTunes.
...in france (if the battery survived that long!). The iPod is simple to use with the click-wheel being a doddle to navigate with. One of the best systems used for an mp3 player and also the menu system is rather good aswell.
The negatives i have found with using my ipod is that it has crashed a couple of times so a soft reset was needed but other than that not too many negatives. Another thing would be the scratching, i just got a clear case from a pound shop to solve this and it works a treat. To be noted though the new generation of iPod Nanos are different and a less susceptible to scratching so another bonus for the more current model.
My view : buy one, if not a 2gb then get a bigger one at 4 gb or even 8 gb. On 192bit. it can hold 360 songs roughly on the 2gb so you or 500 roughly on 128bit. 2Gb version are just under 100 quid...

2GB in my pocket
Review of Kingston DataTraveler I - USB flash drive - 2 GB by
sit2020
Advantages: Easy to use and small
Disadvantages: None
...For work we all got 512MB pen drives, however part of my work can be quite memory intensive therefore I was supplied with a 2GB pen drive. This particular one is made by Kingston and is called Data Traveler. So far 2GB has proved more than ample in terms of its capacity, however I am sure it will only be a matter of time before the applications become more memory intensive and making it necessary for a larger capacity.
What does it look like?
It is predominantly white with lime green highlights, when it is in use a greenish LED on the Data Traveler pulses. It is made of hard plastic apart from the metal USB connection.
It has a cover that protects the USB connection, this clicks on nice and securely, to pull it off the sides of the main body are ribbed to make it easier to grip so removing the cap is not a problem. When the Data...
