Sandisk 8GB micro SD card
Review of Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: Large memory capacity, durable for its size, very reliable
Disadvantages: None really apart from it being quite small
...The Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB (8 GB) memory card is known as an SD micro card, basically because SD memory cards are the smallest you can currently purchase. It measures in at 15mm x 11mm and comes with an adapter when you purchase the card.
The Micro SD card format is used mainly for mobile phones, because of the sheer size and the cards ability to hold huge amounts of data. Although, mainly built for mobile phone use, SD micro cards like the Sandisk Micro SD 8 GB can be used in devices such as hand-held GPS devices, portable audio players, video game consoles and numerous other devices.
With the 8 GB of storage space, you can hold thousands of songs (approximately 2000), thousands of photos as well as hundreds of videos and other files. When you purchase the 8GB SD micro memory card you get an adapter with it...

Transcend - buy over Sandisk!
Review of Transcend TS8GSDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB by
technosplat
Advantages: Very fast transfer rate, strong, looks good, smells pretty, cheap
Disadvantages: None
...I am very impressed!
After recently upgrading from my Canon 350D to 450D I needed a high capacity, fast memory card as the 450 takes SD (secure digital) not CF (compact flash) as the 350 does.
As a professional photographer it's vital that I have the best kit I can afford. I was a little worried about buying Transcend over Sandisk, but with such a huge financial saving I thought I'd give Transcend a go. I'm very glad I did!
The Transcend 8Gb SDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory card performs excellently - trandfer speeds are very very good. It's rated at 'speed 6', the same as the most expensive Sandisk Ultra cards selling for over twice the price.
One thing to mention - SDHC cards cannot be read by all memory card readers - generall only the newer ones will read SD cards over 2Gb.
I would highly recommend this card...

A drive that will last a lifetime!
Review of Transcend JetFlash V10 - USB flash drive - 8 GB by
shaaza
Advantages: very fast, very secure, very small, comes with a neck strap, has a lifetime warranty
Disadvantages: uumm doesn't come in many colours
...I bought this 8GB Transcend Jet flash V10 a few days after the New Year. As you know I'm the sort of person who likes to walk around with lots of memory around me as I got loads of junk to keep.
With the January sales flying around I had to walk around the shops and surf the net looking for real bargains. That's when I came across the 8GB Transcend Flash Drive for only £24.99 on Moby memory website, which is an internet shop that's sells a lot of gadgets mainly to do with mobiles and digital cameras. I did not stop their, I quickly added my 8GB Transcend Flash Drive to the basket and checked out, although I had to pay extra money for the delivery which was rather cheap.
I really did not want to miss the chance of buying this 8GB Transcend V10 Flash Drive for the reason that I knew it would keep thousands of files including all...

iPod Touch 8GB
Review of Apple iPod touch 8 GB by
ilusvm
Advantages: intuitive, stylish, fun, great music player, variety of features, internet function
Disadvantages: fingerprints! no camera, no built in speakers, only available in black currently
... 8GB iPod Touch
As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it!
From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free engraving option and this enabled me to have a two line engraving on the back (top centre) of the ipod. Obviously, it is a very good idea to check your spelling at this point as the ipod cannot be returned due your mistakes when...

Apple iPod Nano 8GB (£99-£129 : July 08)
Review of Apple iPod Nano video 8GB Third Generation by
cport80
Advantages: Nice menu system, good sound quality & EQ
Disadvantages: Overpriced, no card slot, no radio, earphones, itunes
...and it seems anti-consumer for Apple to create a device which allows drag & drop but doesn't then allow you to play the files.
There's also a distinct lack of memory upgrade facilities. This iPod has 8GB and that's yer lot. Ok that's a lot of songs but this is a VIDEO player as well and everyone knows video uses a LOT more memory. This is where that card-slot would have been useful. Using something like a Sandisk Vmate would allow you to get content from your TV onto a memory card very quickly so a slot to put your card into would make a lot of sense.
Instead, you need to source your own video clips (Youtube etc) and then convert your video into its 320x240 format using something like "Any Video Convertor" for example. Given that there are so many phones out there which can now record video at these low resolutions I can't help thinking...

transcend is as good as other manufacturers
Review of Transcend 2 GB SD Card 150x by
FirstToTry
Advantages: fast, value for money, vista readyboost compatible
Disadvantages: none
...The 2Gb SD card from Transcend should be your first choice, often looked at as inferior to kingston and other manufactures however the performance of the card is the same and by comparing the prices you get more for what you pay.
Fast transmission from card to pc and large capacity; with a 6 megapixel camera which is standard these days you can store around 600-700 pictures which is more than enough for a whole holiday.
You can also use the sd card for vista's readyboost function - simply insert the card in a slot (or card reader) and if you are not automatically promted/given choice what to do next, go to my computer and right click on the sd card icon. choose property and then navigate to the readyboost tab, where you can choose how much memory you want to make available to readyboost.
What is readyboost? It is a feature within...

(JetFLASHY V60) - looks = Great USB drive!
Review of Transcend JetFlash V60 - USB flash drive - 8 GB by
ragavpayne
Advantages: Its got 8GB, Its dirt cheap and it comes with great bunch of softwares!
Disadvantages: Looks, below standard transfer rates, size, horrendous colours etc.
...I bought this 8GB USB flash drive immediately after hearing about how cheap these things came for. I've spent a few days with this thing. So, here's a genuine review.
Looks - 3/10
When I first saw this stick in the sealed cover, I thought "Jeez! This thing looks really
flashy and cheap!". After a few days of usage, I still hold the same view. The whole body of
the drive is made of cheap plastic. On the front surface, it has a shining, flickering
flashy coloured surface. When in the port, the stick's butt flickers with an orange light.
The V60, in no way, goes well with my sleek, black laptop ( I guess it was basically my
fault that I bought it...*sigh*...but do read on to get an exhaustive view of this stick). I
would really like to meet someone who would actually vote the V60 for its looks. So, it gets...

iPod Nano 8 GB Green
Review of Apple iPod nano 8 GB by
Up-High-Down-Low
Advantages: High Quality Video Playback
Disadvantages: None So Far
...iPod Nano 8 GB Green
Apple is one of the most well known companies in the world and they are mostly known for their computers and iPods. I have never met someone who hasn't heard of the company Apple. The iPod Nano is the best model of iPods released so far. I recommend that if you buy this product as a gift you should also purchase an iTunes gift voucher.
With 8 GB of memory you just can't go wrong. The battery life on the iPod Nano is outstanding. You can watch up to 5 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback just on one charge. The new design is the main reason I brought this iPod Nano.
The iPod Nano its self is very durable and they very rarely break. There are many new features to the iPod Nano. Its most obvious feature is its wide design. Music is the main reason people buy iPod Nanos. With 8 GB of memory...
