...I am very impressed! After recently upgrading from my Canon 350D to 450D I needed a high capacity, fast memory card as the 450 takes SD (secure digital) not CF (compact flash) as the 350 does. As a professional photographer it's vital that I have the best kit I can afford. I was a little worried about buying Transcend over Sandisk, but with such a huge financial saving I thought I'd give Transcend a go. I'm very glad I did! The Transcend 8Gb SDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory card performs excellently - trandfer speeds are very very good. It's rated at 'speed 6', the same as the most expensive Sandisk Ultra cards selling for over twice the price. One thing to mention - SDHC cards cannot be read by all memory card readers - generall only the newer ones will read SD cards over 2Gb. I would highly recommend this card... Read review

...The 2Gb SD card from Transcend should be your first choice, often looked at as inferior to kingston and other manufactures however the performance of the card is the same and by comparing the prices you get more for what you pay. Fast transmission from card to pc and large capacity; with a 6 megapixel camera which is standard these days you can store around 600-700 pictures which is more than enough for a whole holiday. You can also use the sd card for vista's readyboost function - simply insert the card in a slot (or card reader) and if you are not automatically promted/given choice what to do next, go to my computer and right click on the sd card icon. choose property and then navigate to the readyboost tab, where you can choose how much memory you want to make available to readyboost. ...an above any Guy Ritchie movies, it actually has a subtext - slavery. Now on to the others. Ronny Yu's direction was somewhat uneven. When he reaches points in the story that he understands (primarily action) the movie really kicks into gear. But when it comes to verbal battles of wits between characters, I think the language barrier caught him short. There were moments when the actors clearly needed guidance but they didn't get it. The performances by and large are first rate with the sad exception of Meatloaf who was pretty much miscast. The music was solid in places, but could have been a touch lighter to lift the really funny moments. Overall, The 51st State is a great Saturday Night movie that requires no thinking on the part of the audience, which is sometimes just what you need at the end of a hard week. It does not ever... ...Story The storyline to this game is extremely complex; it follows on from the previous metal gear solid games and is a direct sequel to MGS2. I'll state now, you don't need to have played the previous games to be able to play and understand this one, I'd only ever played MGS2 before this and that was years ago. However, I recommend that you read up on the internet on the storyline, even if you just use Wikipedia, as it is complex and might confuse you. Also the story is very important to the game as the game is very storyline-based. Basically "Old Snake" (Previously Solid Snake) is fighting to stop his clone brother take over the world and the Private Military Company(s) (PMCs). Otacon helps snake with this. ...Hi, This op is based mainly on my friend's Rio600. Let's start on the looks and feel of the machine. It's well built and contoured to the shape of your hand, with fairly simple buttons to use. It looks good, and the coloured faceplate can be swapped ala Nokia style. Sound Quality : This is also one of the best that I have come across. It has a built-in Equalizer (Though I always think that most recordings have been equalized fairly well before publishing). The stereo is crisp for MP3, better than most. Of course, as this is a solid-state player, there is no skipping and the songs load instantly. Computer Connectivity. This is done through USB, and iTunes has no problem in recognising it. ...it in standby (not totally off) it'll really is ready to shoot in less than 1 second !!!!!!!!! The only bad points are that it doesn't feel as well built as my old JVC minidv camcorder…but I'll just be more careful with it. Plus the software supplied is basic but it does the job quickly (well it does on my home built quad core system) I picked this up for just under £200 which for a brand new model isn't too bad but I suspect this is a vision of the future and all camcorders will go solid state soon and the price will come down to ~£100 like the base level Minidv camcorders from JVC and Canon have done.... ...Enemy Of The State is a production from Jerry bruckheimer but carries the rare thing of actually having a solid plot and not much cheesy dialougue. If you don't know the story then here goes. A member of government is murdered when it's known that he'll vote against a bill to allow some dodgy intrusive surveillance. Trouble is the murder was taped and by a chain of events mnagages to end up in the hands of one Will Smith, a decent living guy with family. He doesn't know whats on the tape but is soon driven out of his home and becomes a hunted man. Along the way he meets an ex-NSA guy (Gene Hackman) who helps him outwit the NSA who remain in hot pursuit through some very adavanced gadgets. The film really raises the question of who is watching us without our knowing but has the necessary thrills ans spills to make it entertaining... Read review

...Greetings everyone, Guess what I am back with another classic pop CD review. I am again doing some annual cleaning before Chinese New Year and this CD is what I dug out. It must have been one of the few CDs I consider worth keeping, that's probably why I still have it. By the way, if I were to mention Solid Harmonie, most of you might have not even heard of them unless you were really into pop during the starting days of Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys sometime back in 1998. Well, I am here to give you a little lesson in Pop history. Solid Harmonie is made of four girls named Beki, Elisa, Mariama & Melissa. Advantages: Its got 8GB, Its dirt cheap and it comes with great bunch of softwares!
Disadvantages: Looks, below standard transfer rates, size, horrendous colours etc.

...a meagre 3. Design - 5/10 The design front isn't any impressive either. Its a little bit fatter than the Jetflash V30 series. Its bigger and uglier that the rest of the sticks in the Jetflash V series. It gets a 5. Performance - 6/10 The manufacturer states that the drive offers speeds upto 10MB/s for reading and 2MB/S for writing and that's pretty much what I got out of mine. Put simply, That's a useless rate!! Its just too slow. But, there are slower ones, so the V60 gets a 6. The goodies - 9/10 The Jetflash Elite software that it comes with is a real gem (Psst!! You can get this software from transcend's website and put it in any of your USB drives! I'm guessing that it should work all the same!). ...I know So Solid Crew aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but to be honest most of the people who say “I can’t stand so solid crew” haven’t even listened to any of their music apart form the tracks they have released. I however can say, “I don’t like Linkin Park and that kind of music” because I hear my friends playing it a lot and have actually heard most of the albums. Even if after hearing so solids album you don’t like them, you cant deny that they are in my opinion the best garage group around. They write their own lyrics and aren’t setting out to copy anyone else.
