...--Introduction-- This is now my second review on HP printer paper, I know it isn't the most glamorous of things to be writing about. However, I do feel that it is important to choose the correct paper for your computer print outs. The previous review of mine about HP paper, was concerntrating on the Hewlett Packerd Premium Choice paper. That is at the most expensive end of the paper market and is really for use when printing very formal and important documents. The HP office paper on the other hand, is at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum. It is for rough or draft copies which are likely to be for short term use or just to be thrown away. Advantages: Print quality, reliability, good value for money

...Hewlett Packard produce this soft gloss laser paper to work specifically with their colour laserjet series of printers. At my workplace we use an HP 4500 colour laserjet and when we need to print off high quality photos or reports, this paper comes in very handy, due to the high quality of print that can be produced. This paper is priced at around £15 per box, although it may be cheaper depending on which supplier you use. Specs The paper has a satin gloss finish to it. It is coated with this finish on both sides, which is very handy for producing documents with doubled sided print. According to HP, the paper is finished with higher brightness, which should mean that greys and blacks are produced very clearly on the paper. When I decided to write this review, I had to ask myself whether paper merited 120 words or half an hour of my time, and whether I could actually say anything that had not been said that was worth saying about it. WELL I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU Since buying my HP photosmart printer, there is a slot for A3 paper as well as the standard A4. I had been accustomed to printing photographs and cutting them down to size, and I decided that as this feature was part of my new machine, I should use it, instead of ending up with photographs that looked amateur and not too square. ...As I'm pretty new here I'm taking on all the comments people have given me as they come. Thought this review could do with an edit - hope it's better now! I bought this photo paper along with my new Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer. Being slightly new to the exciting world of "print your own" photos, I thought maybe the paper made by the same company as the printer (which, incidentally, is excellent also) would be a safe bet for the first time. I am happy to say that next time I'll be buying it again. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new digital camera that takes photos of a sufficient quality to print A4 size. Of course, the traditional charming 'family and friends' photos that you take when first trying out a camera have to be printed and shown off (!) so I finally got round to setting up the printer and getting out the paper... ...Last week, I was asked to journey to my local Office World to buy paper for some holiday snaps. After some shelve browsing I came across the Hewlett Packard Premium photo paper. I bought it purely due to the fact the packaging seemed to reach out, and in one swift promotional swing, forced me to purchase the product. Well okay I'm exaggurating, the main thing which attracted me to the product was the price tag. Office World have always been pretty good on prices, and the 6.79 I paid for a 10 sheet A4 pack of this left me feeling most impressed, infact I picked up two packs worth to cover all the pictures! The paper's appearance is of particular high quality. Its extremely glossy, and resembles the sort of paper you find on the covers of magazines, yet much thicker. ...This ' photo quality paper from Kodak is a huge disappointment so there is not much to write about!! First things first on the packet it says 'glossy'. I would hardly call it that. I would say it has a slight shine!! The quality of the photo prints you receive from this paper is very poor indeed. I have a great little 4 mega pixel camera which takes very high standard photos. But if I print those photos on this paper well.....they just don't look like photos!!! The cost of this paper is pretty expensive. The cheapest place I have seen it is at Office 365 and it cost £7.94 there. You could buy a lot better photo paper for that money. The only good thing I have to say about this paper is that you can print on both sides of it. Most photo paper you can only print on one side. All in all this paper has been a huge... Read review
