.... What I ended up buying was the Argos Value Range 4.5 Tog Duvet ? Double which cost £7.99. This duvet does come from the Argos Value Range so therefore, does not have the prettiest packaging. When delivered, the duvet came in a mostly white plastic bag which is tight to the shape of the duvet. I did have a thicker double duvet that I put in a vacuum bag last year when buying my 4.5 tog but when I emptied the bag and took the duvet out I found that there was a hideous chemical smell to it that I just could not shake despite several washes and it was almost making me feel sick s...

Disadvantagesnone that I can think of - maybe not warm enough for the autumn / winter?

...for the money. They also do a double (200cm x 200cm) version for just £4, and a king size (220cm x 240cm) version for just £5. If you want a thin, lightweight, low tog, summerweight, washable, cheap polyester duvet then I don't think you can't go wrong with these at all....
