...Firstly 2007 is a good year for me because I turned 16 and now am finally able to… wait STILL absolutely nothing. Not allowed to smoke, not allowed to drink, not allowed to drive and not allowed to have any fun what so ever. All I can do is bloody buy a lottery ticket. Fun! Now getting back to the important stuff. The reviews I've seen so far are mainly all about personal stuff but I thought why not put in things that have been happening around me, like the decent films that have come out this year, what's been happening in the world that has touched me in some way and of course personal things that have happened to me this year. ...I recently bought a PC and requested that Panda Internet Security 2007 and Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 come bundled with it. I did not realise at the time that the latter product superseded the former. I had problems installing the products anyway - the versions that came bundled with the computer were not Vista-compatible and as my PC's OS was Vista, they would not install. I contacted my PC supplier, as really they should have seen better than to bundle incompatible software, and they suggested I contact Panda directly, so I did, and downloaded and registered Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 from Panda's website. I then downloaded Panda Internet Security 2007 and realised that it had all of the functions of Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 plus some extra ones, so I installed and registered that instead. Advantages: The most user-friendly desktop publishing software out!
Disadvantages: Bit slow to start up.

...annoying toolbars and this new layout I quite neat. However with this new layout comes the problem that the task pane is not that customizable. It should be noted that this type of toolbar is used throughout several of the Office 2007 programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. The word processor itself is pretty much the same. A few more fonts have been added. The default font is no longer 'Times New Roman' but 'Calibri' which is much more fun. It can only be described as a cross between Arial and Comic Sans MS. A series of quick launch icons such as 'Quick Print' and 'Page Preview' are also available beside what you would call the 'File Button' as it is now an orb containing the Office logo. ...2007 was a very important year for me personally, a very big year for the world of celebrity, and an equally big year for current events that affect our country. Personally, I started 2007 living on my own, working a full time job and having a boyfriend - I was living the American dream to a certain extent! For a 18/19 year old girl, I was pretty happy to be doing it as well. Getting a full time job definitely helped me mature alot and gain a greater perspective on various aspects of life, especially life for my generation. For the person who is used to the images of Office 2004, 2005 etc. the new skin can take a while to get used to and seems to be a bit more 'retro' then previous skins that have been included. ...Well. This is a slightly scary thought. I am still a relatively new Ciao-er and have less than 30 reviews to my name, yet here I am attempting to try and sum up the last year in a coherent and readable review. How is this possible, I scream in frustration? SO much happened, both in my life and the country and world as a whole - how can I even begin to think about writing this?! Do I simply go though chronologically and analyse events, or put them into some sort of order of importance. Or maybe I should just leave the review for a while, jotting things down when I think of them and then towards the end of the month try and categorize them into some sort of rational order. ...got little sleep too. When I did get out, it was far too late to plan anything for New Year, so I spent it at home with my Dad. We welcomed in 2008 whilst watching television…classy! In The Big Wide World 2007 was such a disastrous year for me personally, but what about the experiences everybody could be faced with? ...2007 was a bad year for us overall, with a few good bits thrown into the mix. We went up to Lincoln three times in the year, to see my family there. The first visit was at the start of the year, when we celebrated my Nanna's 100th birthday on January 3rd. What a remarkable woman! She had only recently moved into a nursing home, after living in her own house by herself for some thirty years since my Grandad died. We had a lovely birthday party for her and I got to see some of my extended family who I hadn't seen for years. We stayed with my Mum during this time though and sadly had a huge argument, which culminated in us breaking off contact. After her 100th birthday, my Nanna went downhill, became hospitalized and died on February 21st, her death apparently quickened by contrasting C-Difficile. It seemed very unfair, but we...
