An age in which I get a halfway decent replacement for Transformers: The Game. 11.20am on Sunday 29th July: I notice that they can't officially exchange it if the seal is broken. But I decide to chance it; I've only had it a few hours, and I am a regular customer. 12.30pm: Arrive at Game. Speak to the very friendly gentleman behind the counter. Decide to be honest and tell him the game sucks, and I wish to exchange it for Tiger Woods 2007, which is the same price. He smiles a smile that says "oh dear, another one", and exchanges the game for me. 1.30pm: Get back home, enjoy my new, good game, with my tortillas. They were nice. So there we have it. ...Firstly 2007 is a good year for me because I turned 16 and now am finally able to… wait STILL absolutely nothing. Not allowed to smoke, not allowed to drink, not allowed to drive and not allowed to have any fun what so ever. All I can do is bloody buy a lottery ticket. Fun! Now getting back to the important stuff. The reviews I've seen so far are mainly all about personal stuff but I thought why not put in things that have been happening around me, like the decent films that have come out this year, what's been happening in the world that has touched me in some way and of course personal things that have happened to me this year. ...This is a review of a product I do not actually use, but I was responsible for its purchase and I do trip over it several times a day! This was the must-have toy that my four-year-old had to have for Christmas 2007; well it was the toy I had most difficulty acquiring for Christmas. I eventually sourced the toy and purchased for around the £35.00 mark. The product comes as a large truck, called Mack from the Cars Disney movie. Basically it is a large playset which transforms into 3 different playsets, Radiator Springs, Route 66, and Dirt Track. Included with Mack there are 3 other character toys from the movie including a miniature Lightning McQueen, the hero of the movie, Mater and Bessie. ...This review is about The Transformers: The Movie, I will give information about everything about Transformers the Movie, and hopefully some background on the episodes so you know the movie better. The Transformers, are these robots that can transform into a vehicle, there are 2 different races, Autobots, and the Decepticons, they are 2 races trying to destroy each other. The Decepticons are the evil ones, and the Autobots are the good ones. It is a robot bruel. There are loads of Transformers, not all of them like to fight, but they must to defend themselves. ...A few years ago now my husband and I were sat happily watching the television when the show broke for adverts, we sat in amazement as a Citroen car unfolded itself standing up and began to dance, we looked at each other "you know what this means" he said to me "Transformers" I replied excitedly "imagine if they could make a live action movie!" little did we know that at that moment the movie was actually in production, the technology used in the adverts had made it's way to the Hollywood world of movie making. Two years later and the movie that most 80's children have longed for was released, naturally there was some apprehension by the original fans worried that their iconic characters would be changed or the storylines distorted. ...Over the last year or so my little boy has become quite a fan of Transformers, he's only 4 years old but can already name all the characters and even work out how to change the toys from one form to another. It was for his 4th birthday earlier this year that he asked for some new transformer toys and among the selection he received was Voyager Ratchet from the Transformers movie. Voyager Ratchet is based on the classic transformers idea coming in the form of a vehicle, Ratchet is an American emergency services vehicle in green and red, but able to change into a robot with the help of a clever design that allows you to move around parts of the toy until it is completely "transformed" The toy is suitable for 5 years upwards and while this was too old for Christopher I didn't have the heart to tell his Great Granddad he was too young... Advantages: Accuratly portrayed characters, graphics aren't terrible.
Disadvantages: Gameplay, Dialogue, Replayability, Game physics... the list goes on.

... Transformers, change into something good will you? This game made me want to die inside. As wiith all movie tie-ins games, it is poor. There are no saving graces. From a funny and well made film comes yet another cheaply made and frankly terrible game. Anyway enough with the ranting, lets firstly focus on its positives. I enjoyed turning the system and was pleasantly surpirsed for actually getting credit at Game for returning it. Maybe we are being a bit harsh. Transforming into a car/truck/plane (this could go on for a while) can be fun, and will never lose its novelty. Tap triangle and watch your Transformer slip and slide its way into a new form.
