Bumblebee is an awesome "robot in disguise" !!!

Advantages: Bumblebee looks great as both a vehicle and as a robot. A strong and durable toy.
Disadvantages: Once you get one you may get the collecting bug !!!

Transform and Roll Out!

Advantages: A feast for the eyes that's brainless fun.
Disadvantages: Lots of plot holes and shaky characterisation.

...aren't as chunky and clumsy as in the cartoons, so there is a lot more fine detail, especially in the smaller creations. You can see the amount of effort the animators have put into each robot, figuring out exactly how each component would have to move interdependently to enable transformation from robot to vehicle mode. You can sense all the cogs and gears underneath the facades that enable this and can even see some of the tiny moving parts. The transformations are of course accompanied by the traditional sound effects from the cartoon series to keep the fans happy. However purists may be upset by the design of some of the characters. Optimus Prime is still pretty much the same (a big red and blue truck) but Bumblebee is a Ford Camaro instead of a Volkswagen Beetle and Megatron no longer defies physics to transform into a gun. Transformers review

Advantages: Entertaining
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of story

...Transformers is a big-budget blockbuster about two extraterrestrial factions, the heroic and selfless Autobots and the evil Decepticons. Teenager Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) unwittingly gets involved in their war as the transformers come to earth in search of the Allspark, each with different intentions for it. A lot of people will be put off by Michael Bay being the director, he is not known for his intelligent, thought provoking films, quite the opposite in fact, some may even say his films are all flash and no substance. And Ok, he's no Kubrick but he does what he does better than anyone. He can do action very well, and this is why he was a good choice for this film. Even Pearl Harbour had fantastic action scenes, I wish they could do a 'Michael Bay' cut of Pearl Harbour in which there would be about 40mins of action and that's it...

Transformers movie

Advantages: thrilling, pleasing fun, easy viewing, good story, all the family
Disadvantages: nothing realy, unless you look extremely hard, then you may miss the mistakes

...Wow what can you say; this is a brilliant movie, and this coming from a fervent follower of the transformers. At 31 years of age I am the prime age (pardon the pun) to enjoy this comeback for the autobots and the decepticons. This film has been produced in a manor fitting the huge following the transformers have. I have spent the last year buying generation 1 toys I never had as a youngster. Back to the film though, the fact Optimus prime is a bull nosed truck was easier to take then expected, you also think how can they have made the film with the original cars and trucks when they would be 20 years out of date. This taken they do look magnificent, the story line lends itself well to the history of the transformers and not going of on a tangent makes for good viewing. Transform A Snack

Advantages: A decent crisp...
Disadvantages: ...Kind of

...Another culinary delight for you here (and it is a delight!), that is the world-renowned Transform-A-Snack...well, renowned in parts of the UK I guess... One walking around a local Tesco Metro yesterday lunchtime I came across these bad boys right next to the Space Raiders...of course, the first dilemma was which one of these to choose. Both were 25p, 28 gram bags and undoubtedly awful compared to some of the other crisps on offer, but easily the cheapest! I've risked it all though and gone for the "TAS." They come in a 'spicy' flavour, which fear not, just tastes like tomato rather than some outlandish spiced products from the sub-continent...oh wait, we're talking about budget crisps here... Most people will remember these from their youth, the same with Space Raiders, but the packaging has improved slightly from what I remember...

...Perfect Harry Potter figure for collectors and for kids to play with! Ron Weasley is Harrys best friend and a must have figure for any fans. This figure looks just like Ron from the films but the figures are based on the 5th film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This figure comes with Rons wand and his patronus when bought as a single figure. If bought as part of a set he will only come with his wand as an accessory. The wand is obviously quite small and easy to lose unless you take extra special care or attach it to the figures hand with sellotape or blu tack!! This figure is approximately 3 and 3/4 inches tall in proportion with the rest of the Harry Potter figures. The figures I find are very durable and tough and should withstand play by children. They do have an age limit of 4+ as they come with the wand...

The wand is very small so care should be taken if given to a young child. These figures do have a 4+ age limit. He stands approximately 3 and 3/4 inches tall like the other Harry Potter figures but like his character is taller than the Harry Potter figure slightly. This figure is great for any fan and is very durable for children to play with. They will have hours of fun with these figures recreating scenes and making their own up! Good value for money as supermarkets are selling this figure quite cheaply so you can buy the whole set...
