...I am lucky enough to have a mother who lives in the same house as me and is willing to look after my daughter from six in the morning until twelve noon so that I get proper sleep every day. This means that we like to move my daughter from one room to another when we swop over. This is fine while she is still small enough to fit in her carry cot as we just keep her on the wheels and move her that way. No fuss. Travelling compactly

Advantages: Folds up compactly, bright colours, use as a cot or play pen

Job Centre fiasco

Disadvantages: Too many to mention

During your two weekly interviews, they will search their database and print off any current vacancies they decide you should apply for. You are obliged to follow them though. The few vacancies my husband has been given were either on hold or had already expired. This cost us telephone calls and time which we could not afford to waste. Unless you have a mortgage insurance policy which needs to be completed on a monthly basis the fortnightly trip to Job Centre Plus is a complete waste of time as most of the staff are rude and inadequately trained to deal with those recently unemployed who have been employed since the age of 16. ...Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.) Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Stag Do Shenannigans

With these weddings there has been stag do's, taking in such cultural hotspots as Amsterdam, Cardiff, Newcastle and Brno (Czech Republic). Budget accomodation gem

...hotel and here's why. Charing cross is not far from the end of the famous sauchiehall (Soggy hall) street which is the Glasgow equivalent of oxford street. This means that you are within 5 mins walking distance of the very center of glasgow. In addtion to this the location means that from a transport perspective you are also very well siutated with easy access to the M8, the charing cross train station right next door and glasgow airport just a few miles away. If travelling by car there is a multistorey car park which only charges you £1 for over night parking which can be far more if you stay in one of the other city hotels. TOP TIPS Don't eat the breakfast Ask for a room higher up in the building as if you get a room on the wrong side and low down you can hear the train announcment until late at night.
