Manchester's Magnificent Marble Arch Inn
Advantages: Lovely beer, nice looking pub, convenient location
Disadvantages: None for me
...As a regular visitor to Manchester, I have spent the past couple of years working out good real ale bars to take my beloved to when we visit for leisure purposes from time to time. As we both enjoy real ale and one of our favourite breweries is Marble Ale exploring the Marble Arch Inn seemed something of a no-brainer.
Where are we?
The Marble Arch Inn is near the Northern Quarter...

The Midland Hotel - Manchester
Advantages: excellent service, cleanlyness, comfort, food
Disadvantages: none spring to mind
...Introduction
Okay, so I stayed at the Midland Hotel in Machester for one night a couple of weeks ago. Our college were having their 'Leavers Do' there, so we had a meal there, then music and dancing etc afterwards. Some of us got rooms there, as I did, and got to try out some of the facilities and explore the place a bit. I got a room with one of my friends, which had two single beds...

In the Mid-land of Manchester City Centre!
Advantages: City centre location, spacious rooms, impressive public areas
Disadvantages: no car park, tiny swimming pool/ leisure club
...offering a high standard of accommodation. So when we decided on a night away in Manchester we opted for The Midland Manchester which is part of the Q Hotel chain.

The Midland Hotel is located in Manchester City Centre on Peter Street. It is a very central location and very conveniently located for those travelling to the hotel by rail. It is opposite Manchester Central Station...
