...As I prepare for my trip to New York this upcoming week I decided to review the previous hotel that I stayed in for a long weekend in November back in 2003, The Travel Inn. I was not originally meant to be staying at the Travel Inn as I had booked the four of us into the Hotel Newton which was located on 2528 Broadway and had a 1 star rating and at the time I did not realise how far this hotel was located from the Times Square area, and on arrival we were all beginning to worry about the distance to all the tourist facilities. On this occasion we were lucky, due to problems with existing guests we arrived at the hotel to check-in only to be told that there was no room and we were being transferred to a better hotel in a better location......BRILLIANT!! The Travel Inn was our next location and the Hotel Newton even paid for us...

Travel Inn for a premier Night's Sleep

I used this paticular Travel Inn when I was going to a family party and didn't want to travel the 60 miles back home afterwards. Short Break - Holiday Inn York

Advantages: Location, accessability, breakfasts
Disadvantages: Hidden hair dryer!

...My wife and I spent 3 nights in this Holiday Inn in January 2008. It is on the outskirtds of York and easy to find/get to. The room was good and despite facing the main road there was no problem with noise, etc.. It was a good size, clean and tidy with a nice ensuite, tea/coffee facilities. The hair dryer for some reason hides in a drawer but once found was better than the astmatic ones you sometimes get! The breakfasts were good, (buffet style). Good choice (hot and cold), good quality and you can helps yourself to ample quantities! We did not eat any other meals there though they are avaliable. Parking is good with lots of spaces to the front, side and round the back. The staff were friendly and helpful. In the foyer there are lots of leaflets avaliable of local places of interest. Not so Premier Travel Inn

Advantages: Bang in the center of Brighton, just seconds to the Lanes.
Disadvantages: It is on one of the busiest main roads in the city centre.

...We have recently travelled up to Scotland from Devon and on the way home needed to break up the 12 hour journey. We stopped at Premier Travel Inn - Preston East. This Travel Inn is literally right beside the southbound motorway near junction 31a northbound. We were travelling Southbound, so had to come off at junction 31, join the northbound and come off at junction 31a. PRICE ++++++ We paid £48 for a room which is Friday to Sunday rates. Monday to Thursday would cost £51. BOOKING ++++++++ We had an AA Road Atlas with us and also a directory of all the Premier Travel Inn's in the country. PREMIER TRAVEL INN - OXFORD CENTRAL

Advantages: close to the city
Disadvantages: close to the traffic

...This particular Premier Travel Inn is situated on the Oxford Business Park. It is just off the A4142 on the junction with the B480 and it is opposite the Rover Works, 3 miles from Oxford city centre. My husband originates from Wallingford near Oxford so we travel up that way occasionally to see old friends and family. We were finding it more and more difficult to find a reasonable B&B for the night. Most of them in that area are £60 upwards for a room. BOOKING ++++++++ We booked our room online. This was very easy to do. You find the hotel that you want, then check availability. You can then choose the type of room that you want and reserve it. You only pay for the room upon arrival and it can be cancelled as close as 1pm on the day that you arrive. You can check in after 2pm and do not need to vacate until 12pm...

Premier Travel Inn Southwark - London

...I try to arrange a couple of days break for my husband and myself, away from the children, every Easter holiday and we like to visit London and see the sites. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in central London then Premier Travel Inn is probably your best bet. I considered three - County Hall, near the London Eye; London Bridge, north side of the bridge and Southwark. I have to admit that I didn't know where Southwark was until I looked on a map and I was surprised to find out how central to everything it was, so I chose to stay here. The Premier Travel Inn Southwark is about eight minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station - so make sure that your luggage has wheels! I struggled but had a rest in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral at the halfway point. Doctor Who fans may remember the episode...

Premier Travel Inn Dumfries, best by far

...I stayed at the Premier Travel Inn in Dumfries just over four years ago for three days and once for a night a couple of years ago. The first time round it was on a Thursday night arrival for a long weekends partying in preparation for my wedding on the Saturday. We were getting married in a castle just up the road but felt that the Inn offered the ideal cost savings for family and friends to gather before hand and just have a darn food time. COST At the time I paid £39 per room. That's not bad at all for two people sharing. The Inn at that time had just under 50 rooms and was located just of the main roundabout as you enter Dumfries just of the A75. It offered closeness to Dumfries town centre whilst being 20 odd minutes from the main motorway to the north and south of the country. I think Carlisle is about 30 miles down the road...

Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth - Cleverly located

Advantages: Clean and Tidy

...I can really recommend the Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth, simply for the reason that it is situated less than 2 minutes walk to the Weymouth Sealife Centre, and also less than a minutes walk from Lodmoor Inn (Brewers Fayre), which the Premier Inn have an all in eat as much as you like breakfast deal arrangement with the Lodmoor Inn, kids eat free if adults pay £7.50 each for all in breakfast. If you stay over night and ask nicely they might let you use the free parking the following day so that you don't have to pay at the Weymouth Sealife Centre (should you intend to visit there). Some key points made in other reviews, which I agree with. It is very convenient for the Sea Life Centre, the town, the beach and the ferry.
