My travel mouse
Review of Logitech V400 Laser Cordless Notebook Mouse - mouse by
dbirse
Advantages: Good size, fits my hand well
Disadvantages: not much to say really
...they are actually on a sort of see-saw which is not very good but no great problem. It is a two tone mouse and has been said to be the SUV of mice. The orange version of this mouse backs that up. The orange one is brighter but no different in any other way.
The main problem I have had with travel mice in the past is that they are too small and are hard to use. I don't see why manufactures don't realize this and make them bigger but Logitech have and that's why I got this mouse. It's a good bit bigger than the last one I had and I can still carry it around with me easily.
It's a laser mouse so it is more accurate and has no annoying red glow from underneath it. I don't think the accuracy thing really is that big a deal unless you are playing games on your computer a lot which isn't what I do or doing something else involving some sort of accuracy...

Good travel-mouse solution
Review of Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse mouse by
afro_geoffro
Advantages: Small, great sensitivity, scroll wheel
Disadvantages: Can be uncomfortable with lots of use, optical sensor
...is noticably.
The only other issue that I have with this mouse is one that all optical mice suffer from - that you need a dark, regular surface underneath the mouse for the optical sensor to work. Unfortunately, most airport tables these days are either white or stainless steel, and this has made it necessary to carry a mousemat with me whenever I travel.
Overall, this mouse is indespenisbile for working, it makes life so much easier, and quicker, when using a laptop rather than using the built in pointing device. I just have to be mindful of not using it for extensive periods of time, and I would caution anyone who has had wrist/hand problems in the past to follow the same advice....

Has The Mouse Been Eating The Batteries
Review of Labtec Wireless Mouse mouse by
Mickie26
Advantages: Works, neat, looks good, feels good.
Disadvantages: Batteries get eaten up quickly
...Founded in 1982, Labtec Inc. is a leading provider of value-priced peripherals and accessories for computing, communication and entertainment. Labtec offers a broad array of products.
From PC Voice Access, Multi Media Speakers, Mice, Keyboards and Desktops and Webcams.
We bought our Labtec mouse about 3 months ago now.
It was bought by my husband who deals with all the
technical stuff in this house for a price of £14.99
from Tesco's.
The facilities that this mouse incorporates are an ultimate All-in-One Design which combines Optical Technology AND Wireless Freedom it also has an Optical sensor that shuts off automatically and smoother, faster tracking. It has USB connection and works with PCs.
Really this is a Travel mouse. Saying it's really more of a Travel mouse though we use it every day for our computer...

My Mouse broke a House Brick
Review of Genius NetScroll Wireless - mouse by
tatum69
Advantages: Almost Indestructible
Disadvantages: speed of scrolling not fabulous. Dies when struck at 86mph.
...estimated at slightly more than 1 imperial tonne.
As one might imagine, the excitement over the experiment was great. Little Matthew, son to cherryfalls and niallwebster, was beside himself with joy, as the car raced (or at least paced) towards Usle the mouse. The car struck Usle a mighty blow!
And yet, Usle Lives!!!
That's right, the mouse of ages is SO strong it can withstand the impact of a 1-tonne car travelling at 20mph. I am truly impressed.
Dogburster and I have decided that more experiment is required - we need to test Usle truly to destruction. So we are going to use his car - which is some 2 imperial tonnes, with the both of us sitting in it - together we probably weigh... oh... 8 imperial tonnes at least! And the car will be travelling 60mph.
Watch this space!
UPDATE
Usle, the Mouse of Ages, is indeed... ALMOST...

Mighty Mouse with Mighty Power needed
Review of Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse Blue - mouse by
Griffin000
Advantages: Wireless, optical, no cleaning needed
Disadvantages: Uses up batteries fast.
...It was up and running.
To set up the mouse all I had to do was put batteries in it (2 x AA size). The CD to load on the relevant software was easy to use plonk it in the CD drive and follow the instructions. Seeing as it's made by Microsoft there were no compatibility issues with the operating system. The most difficult part is to plug in the receiver that sits somewhere on your desktop so the signal from your mouse can travel to the computer. You have a choice of plugging it into a USB port or they provide an adapter which means you can also plug it into a PS2 port. Very handy if you are short on USB ports!
This means your mouse is now ready.
The software that comes with the mouse can be access from the 'Control Panel' on your computer and you can set the speed of your mouse as it moves on screen, change the use of the left and right...

Logitech V250 Cordless Mouse and Number Pad
Review of Logitech V250 Cordless Mouse and Number Pad Kit for Notebooks - keypad , mouse by
Soundsexciting
Advantages: no need to use the touchpad on a notebook
Disadvantages: cannot store USB wireless connector within the mouse
...As an IT Business Consultant I get to do a fair amount of travel to different client sites. To allow me to function effectively my company has issued me with a top of the line laptop. Not the one I've reviewed in the past but a new one. I'll review that in a week or two once I've had a good chance to put it through its paces.
Unfortunately no matter how great the laptop, there are a couple of things I hate about laptops in general:- having to use the touch pad and having to enter numbers into a software application such as a spreadsheet.
All the laptops I've ever used have this touch pad below the set of keys on the keyboard where you trace your finger on the pad and this moves the mouse pointer about on the screen. To select an item on the screen you have to press a button usually located below the touch pad and this I find very...

Reliable high precision mouse from Logitech
Review of Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse - mouse by
jeaniecz
Advantages: Perfect grip, precize move, great on-click response
Disadvantages: I haven't found any
...I've been using this mouse for about 6 months by now and it's the best thing I've ever had. Let me get to the point through the story about how I got to this mouse: With my desk computer I've tried about 6 mice, both with the roller ball in the old days and opticals later, the best of those being Genius optical mouse, which had served me more than well for about 3 years, even if I hardly used all of its functions and I thought it was a little too big and bit clumsy therefore, but you get used to it.
I've got a laptop a year ago and my first thought when going to buy me a mouse, since I hadn't got one with the laptop, was that the mouse had to be small, smart and easy-to-use and of course I wanted an optical one, since I travel a lot and like to carry the laptop with me, so a small ballfree mouse was a neccessity. As a satisfied user...
