Have buggy will travel
Review of Graco Children's Products Mosaic Travel System by
MICH51
Advantages: can fit graco car seats from travel system
Disadvantages: fiddly harness to secure child
...I bought this buggy for my second child as I had previously owned a graco buggy and it had served its purpose well. When initally choosing this buggy i wanted a light weight model that would fit in the boot of my car with my expanding number of shopping bags, as this buggy has an umbrella fold it is very compact. The buggy itself suits from birth however a handy tip for second time mums is that if your first born used a travel system then you may be able to use the car seat from the old travel sytem on your new buggy if you get the same make, I actually tried my origional travel system car seat in this buggy in the shop before I purchased it and as a result saved over £70 as it fits the only draw back is that the colours dont match. I have used the buggy with my travel system seat and as stand alone buggy as a stand alone buggy...

We love this travel system and so does our son
Review of Graco Quattro Tour Travel System by
gemagems
Advantages: Ease of use - Good accessories -easy to fold down - confy for baby or toddler
Disadvantages: expensive ( but worth it for accessories)!
...We already had a pram/travel system (a second hand one off friends)! But we went to babies r us for an autobase for the car and came out £229.99 down! Purely because we saw this travel system and fell in love with it!
The lovely lady in babies r us showed us all the special funky little moves this travel system makes! First (and most importantly for anyone who knows what a struggle it can be putting a buggy down when getting on a bus etc) this travel system needs only one (yes one) hand to do it! It takes a quick click and twist and the travel system is down! BRILLIANT! Although I say this is handy for public transport due to the size of the buggy it is very heavy compared to other buggys so you could srtuggle lifting it onto a bus or train (unless you have friendly drivers)!
Next is the one click autobase that comes free...

Have Travel Systems can travel.
Review of Mothercare Colorado Travel System by
Bev_C
Advantages: Very useful and longlasting pram. Being able to clip carseat onto the buggy and leave baby undisturbed is godsend. It grows well with the child - useful from birth up to older toddlers.
Disadvantages: Carseat is heavy and buggy is quite basic.
...Prior to buying a pushchair my partner and I researched all the possible options and became very confused by the huge number of combinations available. In the end we decided we did not want the expense of buying a seperate car seat so opted for a travel system. The Mothercare Colarado that we ended up with comprises of a fold down buggy with play tray and a car seat which clips on top.
The MAIN BENEFIT of the travel system is the ease which the carseat can be taken out of the car and simply clipped on top of the buggy or brought into the house with us without disturbing the baby at all. The carseat was also a useful extra 'chair' for him in the house.
For the first 5 or 6 months Harvey did not go in the main buggy at all. Even if we were just going for a walk I would put him in the carseat so he was facing us and quite high up...

Best Travel System but for how long?
Review of Graco Quattro Tour Travel System by
mashford01
Advantages: all in one solution
Disadvantages: Heavy and large when folded
...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc.
This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention!
We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol).
The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...

Nice little travel system
Review of Graco Children's Products Mosaic Travel System by
harleysmummy
Advantages: Small for a travel system and a great budget buy
Disadvantages: Handles in a funny position, really didnt agree with my back
...I bought this buggy when I was pregnant. I chose it because it was quite cheap, came with the car seat and was also advertised as light and small - I use public transport alot. When it arrived it was quite easy to put together, the wheels were the trickiest part but I managed it and I was pregnant. It didnt come with the footmuff or raincover but these are cheap to buy, although I did have some problems finding the footmuff to match the colours of the buggy and never actually got round to buying one - we just used a blanket instead. The buggy is light for a travel system one but still quite heavy if you know what I mean and I couldnt wait til my son was a little older so could get an even lighter one. It steers well for a travel system although the carseat is quite heavy on it, without it is easy to steer and push. It lays flat so if you...

graco travel system is a must !
Review of Graco Mirage Travel System by
kellyash
Advantages: baby can have loads of different comfortble postions
Disadvantages: try and get the car seat in the car,is not easy!
...i resently brought a graco travel system buggy which comes with a car seat, from littlewoods cataloge,it did cost me £249.00 which is a hell of alot of money for a buggy but i needed something that i could handle well and take on trips when i visit my family in london,so it was a must for me,and buying from a cataloge and not a high street store let me spread the cost and at the prices buggys are these days it was the only way i was going to get the one i wanted.
this buggy is aged from 0 up 3 years,
i opted for the red, black and grey colour which is very attractive,if they sold it in pink i would have brought that but no matter how hard i looked i couldnt find one and i did do alot of looking!
i was alittle worried about the size of this buggy, because im quite short and needed something where my arms werent up to my chest while...

A Buggy That Bugs Me
Review of Mothercare Urban Detour Xtreme three wheeler travel system by
molelover
Advantages: good on country terrain, three-in-one system
Disadvantages: too big to take on the bus or into shops, very heavy
...Leah's father had almost finished saving for his motorbike when I became pregnant. Thankfully, he decided that a three-wheeler buggy was almost as much fun, and became besotted with them instead, spending many happy hours kicking the wheels of buggies in shops and making grumbling noises about engines. We chose one with a swivel front wheel, for extra maneouvreability around corners (he also likes racing cars.)
A travel system incorporates a car seat as well as a buggy, so it's a good first time buy for a new baby killing two birds with one stone. The car seat attaches to the buggy by simply lowering it into two slots, clicking it into place and adjusting the carrying handle. This means you can transfer a sleeping baby from car to buggy very easily without waking him or her up. Remove the car seat from the travel system and you can...

Excellent travel system
Review of Graco Quattro Tour Travel System by
amylc
Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional
Disadvantages: Slightly heavy
...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...

Not another travel system
Review of Chicco 2003 Trio Travel System by
gollum3273
Advantages: Initally saves you money
Disadvantages: Big and bulky
...The Chicco 3 in 1 2003 travel system
So that's it you have found out your pregnant, the coming months will have you planning and preparing in a way you never thought possible, you will be asking yourself all sorts of silly questions, like 'is it a boy or girl', 'what colour clothes do I buy', and the biggest and probable most important question ' which pram do I by?'
This is I think what most new mums go through in the first few weeks of finding out they are expecting a baby, so back to the pram issue, as this is probably one of the most expensive items that you will have to purchase if you intend going anywhere with your child.
So firstly the most important aspect - a car seat, as unless you live within walking distance from the hospital you will have to have one of these or the hospital will not let you take your...

graco buggie is the best
Review of Graco Mirage Travel System by
charliejuk
Advantages: this buggie has a car seat
Disadvantages: i find that the material starts to fade
...i bought my graco buggie about 8 months ago for my second baby,i had a graco buggie with my first baby and loved it so much.I think i will always buy graco because they are such brilliant quality.
I have the graco mirage travel system and i paid about £260.00 for it from babies r us.The car seat acts as the pram for when the baby is young up until the age of 9 months and then they can sit in the actuall buggie which has a five point harness so that they cant escape, you can also use the buggie if you want from newborn aswell but i found that the straps didn't go tight enough for a newborn baby and prefered to use the car seat instead. The car seat forming as the pram is a brilliant idea as when you've had a sleepless night and your baby has just gone to sleep in the car you don't have to wake them when getting them out of the car...
