...~*~*~INTRODUCTION~*~*~ My mother in law wanted to buy a travel cot when my son was born as she will be looking after him when I go back to work. We looked around on the internet and when she saw the Graco compact she decided that was the one, she loved that it was nice and bright and thought my son would enjoy playing in there as well as sleeping. We ordered it from Kiddicare but unfortunately they have stopped selling it. ...Having just returned from a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable vacation in Turkey, I feel compelled to recommend this destination to others. There is far more to Turkey than the traditional British package holiday resorts of Marmaris and Bodrum, and the country has much to offer the backpacker or budget traveller. In particular, I would like to recommend the Fez Bus which is a hop-on, hop-off bus service running on a circular route covering much of the country. As well as friendly, helpful guides and the opportunity to meet other backpackers, the Fez Bus takes its passengers to many destinations off the beaten track, which one would otherwise miss out on if travelling by local Turkish buses. Hanging out with the Fairies in Turkey

We travelled from Istanbul to Konya on an overnight train, which easily beat the wheels off any of the many sleeper services I've tried around the world. From Konya it was another 4-5 hours by bus to the town of Goreme in the heart of Cappodocia. Turkey ( no, not the one which we eat)

Advantages: Lovely people, cheap, the sun
Disadvantages: I had to come home

...My hoilday to Turkey Marmrais started as soon as I got of the plane at Dalaman airport, as I got of the plane the heat just hit me, it was HoT. After we got off the plane we had a long 2 hour coach drive to Marmaris though the mountains which where lovely but we did have a 15 minutes fag break thank god. As we got of the coach, I was really tired and all I wanted to do was sleep, but as we entred the hotel my eyes just opened it was lovely the pool was all lit up and you could smell the beach. My room was lovely and tidy and really clean, before I went to bed I had to have a look around my room, so I went out onto the balcony and I could see the sea and all the boats were lit up. My room was equipped with all the lastest technology and even had a mini bar which I was really happy with. The bathroom wasn't that big but had...

Icmeler - Turkey at its best

Advantages: hot weather, great people and wonderful memories

...Oh, I really didn't want to go to Turkey, but I was out-voted by my husband and two sons aged 6 and 10. This would be our first trip to the country and I reluctantly packed for 2 weeks in the sun or what I very mistakenly thought was going to be two weeks in a relatively under-developed, somewhat dirty and greasy country. I have never been more wrong in my life..... We arrived at 3a.m. after a pleasant if uneventful flight from Newcastle and after paying our £10 per person visa (Only English £10 notes accepted), we were met by two very cheerful and chatty guys who led us to our transport and, after personally gathering the remainder of our fellow holiday-makers, set off in our air-conditioned coach to the resort of Icemeler. However, I've come back from a great holiday and hopefully, after reading this, some of you will consider Turkey as your next holiday destination! TURKEY --------------- Turkey is located in south Eastern Europe and south Western Asia, next to Iran, Iraq and Syria, and near Cyprus and Greece. It's a four hour flight away from England.
