You will not actually see many Kenyan's on the beach. In fact you will not see many people at all on the beach (in my experience). I found that it was rare to see tourists on the beach as they would be hassled by beach sellers. Trip to Wasini Island ------------------------------ I would definately recommend this. First of all I travelled by Dhow to Kisite Marine National Park which is home to the best reefs in Kenya. I snorkled and the wildlife was amazing. If you are lucky you might see dolphins during your journey to the reef. I then visited the main island (Wasini). Amazing Kenya

.... The nigh club was outside and dance floor was kind of a giant boxing ring raised high off the ground! The toilets were not the best! Basically just a hole in the ground! The music was like going back in time 10 years with lots of old Craig David songs amongst others. If you go to Mombasa I would strongly recommend you have at least one night out of your hotel to experience the local culture. We spent 5 days of our holiday on safari staying at 3 different resorts in the Tsavo safari game reserve. We were picked up from Severin early one morning and got on a mini bus for a few hours until we reached the game reserve. The mini bus ride is quite scary. Because the roads in Kenya are so straight you travel quite fast and are constantly on the wrong side of the road overtaking the numerous lorries and other safari buses. It is definetly not...

...We recently booked a holiday hotel on OctopusTravelCLUB and it was excellent. It has a huge selection of hotels at all star ratings and the lowest prices. We booked a very smart 5 star resort in Madeira for 10 nights. When we arrived, it turned out that the hotel was not ideal for our children (safety fences around the pool were not as high and solid as my wife wanted). OctopusTravelCLUB were really good about us cancelling our booking and rebooking elsewhere. Apart from having the best prices, it pays you 2% commission when your friends, their friends, their friends' friends and so on, rippling 5 circle out from you, use the CLUB to book their travel. This means you could make nearly £1,000 a year if everybody within 5 circles of you introduced just 5 people and 1 in 20 of them were to make a typical £250 booking. I...

I travelled to Mombassa Kenya in July of this year and i have to say i think it was the best holiday i have been on! I have totally fallen in love with Africa and the African people! I am even thinking about saving up so i can travel there sometime in the future with my friends! I stayed in a hotel called The Voyager Beach Resort, the hotel itself is situated on the beach and is approx. 10 mins from Mombassa Town. The views are breathtaking across the ocean and if you have a sea view room then this is what you are to wake up every morning for the next 2 weeks!! ...Truly the best holiday experience I have ever had, we couldn't have found a better safari company during our trip to Kenya this summer. For us, an African safari was a once in a lifetime opportunity. We saw the most amazing sites, from the hot springs of Lake Bygoria to the majestic creatures that inhabit the Masai Mara plains. These things would have been unforgettable regardless, but it was such a relief that we could enjoy them and not have to worry about the logistics of the tour.
