...this acers just like the travelmate 6292 302 as it has all the same specs apart from this one only runs at 1.8 GHz processor speed whereas the newer 6292 302 runs at 2ghz speed. apart from that all the specs seem to be the same and this is just a little older version of the acer travel mate 6292. this travelmate, like the others is also designed for buisness people on the move. although this is the smallest and sleekist laptop from the acer line, this laptop still isnt as sleek and cool as some of the other new laptops out their on the market today. the TravelMate 6292 weighs less than 2kg with its 6-cell battery in place which i think you will agree is a really nice leight weight laptop, if your looking for somthing to take places alot. its actual footprint on a desk is only a little bigger than apeice of a4 paper, so... ...This laptop is another one from the acer travelmate range . Acer as a laptop company are beginig to grow, and they are now just as well know as a lot of others, but then I first saw then in shops, my first impression, and the impression of others I asked was they seemed a bit of a cheap brand, just like netto is compared to Sainsbury's. however acer have somehow seemed to change peoples minds and even managed to change my mind somehow. If you want something sturdy, with a solid specification and in a mid price range of around £500, yet you could get one a lot cheaper now on eBay. Then this laptop could be for you. Its Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor runs at 2GHz which is pretty good, and its has 1 gb of ram too. This makes it a lot faster than a lot of other laptops with only 1 gb of ram though because its processor is so quick... Read review

...This is the second Travelmate i have owned (the first being the similar Travelmate 8000) and it is the best i have used so far. Below is a list of the things i like and don't like about the product: Pros: Large Screen - good for watching films and also doing technical work (ie drawings and graphs) Hi-spec enough to be quick Card reader is really useful - we seem to have about very different memory card these days!!!!
