Playmobile Pirates Treasure Chest is an excellent toy

Advantages: Has its own case, canon really fires, pirates clothes are interchangeable
Disadvantages: small parts - use care around ages 0-3

...The Playmobile Pirates Treasure Chest is an excellent toy for my son. My son received it from Santa when he was 4. He is 7 now and still loves it. His favorite part is the canon that can fire 4-5 feet. He also enjoys the secret compartment that has wooden boards covering it. When a "bad" pirate walks over it he falls in and is captured by the "good" pirates, or loot can be hidden in the secret compartment. This set opens and closes well in the front and back. In the back you can change the colorful, cardboard scenery background from a tropical beach to a mysterious cave of treasure. All the parts fit into the treasure chest well and its portability makes it a convenient toy to take on weekends to boring relatives houses. ...A few weeks ago Shortie turned the very old age of 6. Now Shortie is known for his love of all things cheap and plastic. His favourite toys seem to have a half life of five minutes, or are ridiculously complicated to put together and play with (unless of course you are six years old, in which case they are simple to put together and play with). ...Ptujska Gora is the tiny hamlet that has grown around the hilltop (352 metres) Church of the Mantled Virgin Mary near the Slovenian town of Ptuj (in fact the name translates as Ptuj?s Mountain). The imposing Gothic church can be seen from miles around and is situated about fifteen minutes drive from Ptuj on the Ptuj to Majsperk Road. It?s also possible to take a bus from Ptuj which stops about two thirds of the way up the hill and you must walk the rest of the way yourself. ...National Treasure has to be one of my favourite Disney Movies in the last 10 years, and even though I think of myself logically too old for Disney films, this particular film has such a likeable, watchable quality to it, and at times reminds me of my younger years.
