Bill Wyman, rock musician, somewhat controversial man-about-town and history buff? Everyone has a dark secret in their lives. And Bill Wyman's is that he is a closet metal detectorist. Well, not so much closet, now he has written this book! Wyman relates how he bough his first metal detector in 1991, after a trying period in his life, and then spent many happy hours and days tramping round the fields surrounding his home in rural Suffolk. Always with the permission of the farmer, of course. Why did he take up this hobby? He relates that some men were working in the garden of his house found a 16th century water jug as they were digging. Wyman himself found a small pewter bowl in his rose garden... Read review

...was billed by the illustrators as that, a long time ago, so two-and-a-quarter-D is perhaps more like it. The game is installed by the usual auto-play installation feature, if not enabled then follow the clear instructions on the booklet in the CD case. The game starts with Dick, Anne and Julian arriving at the cottage by the sea, with Aunt Fanny welcoming them. She says that George the tomboy is cooling off after an argument with the Uncle over a mysterious Professor. Apparently, he is interested in the wreck sunk off the Island that belongs to George. Dick is asked to find her and bring her back for supper. So off left to the beach, looking for clues to where she is hiding. Rather than give the whole game away, I point the interested parties to the hints extracted at the end of this piece, to give a general flavour of the tasks that need... Read review

Advantages: Not such a large hotel so easy to find your way round and out
Disadvantages: Truthfully none

...into the Tangerine Club where you can watch the pirate show without having to get squashed in the crowds outside. The Tangerine nightclub is good although quite small so gets very packed - not much room to dance. They have a live band with burlesque dancers which is enjoyable. STAFF: The staff at the hotel all seemed pleasant though no exceptional service, some dealers are more chatty than others, but that was the same at al hotels we gambled in. At night they have security at the lift entrances who you have to show your room card to to get through, which makes you feel secure. We both really enjoyed our stay here and if we ever get the chance to go to Las Vegas would definately stay at Treasure Island again.... Read review
