The price tag is high, but the value for money is excellent. Software and hardware alike are highly polished, and attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. Battery life is somewhat dissapointing, but its the only major weakness I have found. The 3GS is a product that not only lives up to, but actually beats the hype....

Advantages: Packed with applications, very handy and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Keyboard is hard to use, no flash player and not very durable without a case.

It comes pre-loaded with Safari (Apple's own web browser), the iTunes store, built in iPod, a special YouTube application for viewing Youtube videos and many other features. Firstly, while I'm thinking about it, the iPod touch doesn't come with a flash player, which is the reason why there's a special YouTube application. This means that when browsing safari, you can't watch embedded video clips or clips off other video sharing sites...

...have a built in camera. Summary Overall I think the iPod Touch is brilliant. It does lack a few features which I have mentioned above but it is such a nice little device that is discreet, so easy to use that until you have had a go on one you really can't imagine just how easy it is! At almost £200 it isn't cheap but I do think it is worth it. There are plenty of accessories available including covers to protect from all those fingerprints! Considering that it is a touch screen, the device itself feels nicely robust and is made to a high quality. It by far beats any other music players that I have seen or used and as Apple advance the technology futher to add more features it can only get better! Title track 'When Your Heart Stops Beating' is an extremely impressive offering and should put a smile on the face of most Mark Hoppus fans as he plays his part well here with bass and vocals coming through strongly and really making the track stand out, showing for the first time here that he does not need Tom DeLonge by his side in order to produce a memorable track. I would suggest that this is the bands finest moment on the album and other than this there are really very few tracks that stand out. The only other tracks that I would say are indeed worth a mention are those of the disco punk fun of '155 - +44', 'Make You Smile' with its dual male and female vocal assault, and the sombre tones of 'No It Isn't'.
