One coat is plenty!

...My partner is a painter and decorator so when we moved into our flat I knew exactly what I wanted! He managed to get the whole flat done in just a few days but had to return to work before he had managed to get the woodwork done. Therefore, that ended up being put off for a while! When I bought the paint for the woodwork I was given instructions from him not to get one coat stuff, however when I saw that B&M were selling 2.5l of Crown paint for £12.99 I thought that I would get that. However, they had ran out of the regular satin in white and only had the ?Solo? version, as this was only £1 more expensive costing £13.99 for 2.5l I did think this was a really good price and thought that despite him saying one coat almost always needed two coats it was worth a try. Gravy Coated Bones

Advantages: Cheap, good quality, good value

...I used to buy pedigree gravy bones but they were starting to get expensive at the rate my 4 dogs got through them so i had a look around for a cheaper alternative (but something similar that my dogs would like), and found these gravy bones which are from pets at home. The bones come in a 1.5kg bag which is £3.15, £1-£2 cheaper than the Pedigree ones. The packaging is plastic and transparent so the bones are visible to see, on the front is a green box which says 'Gravy coated bones' and the weight of the entire bag. My dogs love these. I usually cut the bag open and put the treats into a container to keep them nice and fresh and crispy as these treats are very biscuit like; a smooth outside and crunchy inside. ...in hundreds of years to unearth personal items of clothing or the piece of shot that ended a mans life makes for riveting viewing. This is cutting edge archaeology but with a lighter tone, wit and humour make the subject accessible and you wont even realise that you are learning something along the way. To paraphrase one reviewer of the show, if you can turn on the TV and be subjected to an insight into the battle of Culloden, then the license fee is entirely justified. Its trench warfare but this time every ones a winner....
