...This is a well thought-out device with a good touch sensitive screen and a surprisingly usable keyboard, even for people like me, with fat fingers. I have used Palm OS PDAs for many years so I have a lot of data and applications from previous devices that I want to maintain and I was keen to stay with the Palm OS operating system rather than switch to Windows at this stage. It was easy to move the Treo 680 from my Palm T5 without any loss of data. Now I only need to carry one device instead of a PDA and a phone. The stylus is a bit fiddly to use when compared to the chunky T5 one, but then the stylus is not needed as much given that the keyboard replaces the need for text entry with the stylus. Stylish Treo 650

Advantages: Stylish, Good keyboard, Sharp screen
Disadvantages: Low internal memory, protruding antenna

...The PalmOne Treo 650 is a very expensive phone / PDA. Fortunately the company I work for supplies this to me other wise I probably would not have given it a second glance. The Treo 650 looks a tidy aesthetically pleasing item, with a reasonable size screen showing 320 x 320 pixel resolution and is touch sensitive. The keyboard on the Treo 650 is a delight, it sits underneath the screen and has large sized buttons with a raised face to allow quick correct typing. The navigation button sits between the screen and the keyboard in the centre of the phone. My review on PalmOne Treo 650

Advantages: Super Quality screen, easy2use keyboard, All in one device, bluetooth, infra, EDGE, lot palm based software.
Disadvantages: No Wi-Fi, low build in memory, so so battery life.

My Treo 750 experience

Advantages: Keyboard work flawlessly, Easy to use, Has HSDPA, Great business phone

Palm Treo 750v - brilliant

Advantages: One machine to carry. Quick internet access. Easy to operate

...Having been a heavy user of palm pda's for a few years I was reluctant to part with them, however it was getting a bind carrying my mobile phone and pda around with me. I thought long and hard about the choices and decided to stick with Palm and go for the Treo 750v. I sold my phone and pda on ebay and away I went. Advantages: brilliant bright screen, palm os platform

...Back in June when Palm had the 'football game' competition on, I won my trusty little (well actually rather large) treo 650. I believe that the only reason I find it large is because I have had lighter, smaller sony ericsson phones beforehand. the Palm Treo 500 - a macintosh users perspective!

Advantages: keypad, email, bubble breaker
Disadvantages: battery life

...I chose the Palm Treo 500 for the fact that it has a full keypad for typing, in the style of the blackberry and iphone design rather than having to rely on predictive text etc for email, and although the buttons are naturally small, this aspect of the phone is still very appealing. Caps lock typing can be very awkward however... As a macintosh user, I wasn't sure about using a windows based product, but the functionality is very good and simple to use. Email - for a pop3/imap4 account, once set up works very well although it helps if you have experience of setting up email accounts as you need to know all the settings or where to get hold of them... Internet I find is perfectly functional but the screen size makes browsing frustrating! It is important with the Palm Treo and similar products to not expect too much from these facilities...

...Having been a PDA user for many years now, I decided to go for a smartphone on my next upgrade as carrying both a PDA & a phone around in places where I don't take my handbag ( like walking the dog in the park or going to the beach while on holiday) was begining to be a chore. The Treo 680 is small, light and slim enough to go in your pocket and with the keyguard activated there is no fear of making an unscheduled phone call by mistake! I have a silver one but it has now been launched in a bright red colour in this country! Phone calls can be made directly from the contacts pages and there are all the items like missed calls, dialled calls, and received calls lists to help keep track of your phone bill. ...I've had my Treo 600 for about 5 months now, obtained direct from Orange to upgrade my Siemens SL55. So, i've gone from one of the smallest handsets on the market to what is probably one of the largest. Why you may be asking, well... I was due an upgrade and had been thinking of buying a PDA for a while so the Treo appeared to kill two birds with one stone. I contacted Orange and paid £99 upgrade fee and my Treo arrived a few days later. First impressions were, 'wow this is a lump' and 'jeez, i'll never get the hang of this'. I did keep hold of my SL55 for a week or two just in case but soon got to grips with the Treo. Now the size doesn't bother me at all.
