...Armand Petitjean, a French perfumer and cosmetician, launched Lancôme in 1935 with five fragrances. Although none of the original five are still sold by the company they continue to create new perfumes and cosmetics based around the ideal of the rose that so fascinated Petitjean, and is now the company's logo. Lancôme appear to strongly associate particular models or actresses with the launch of perfumes. In 1990 Isabella Rosselini helped to launch Trésor, meaning 'treasure' - apparently attempting to merge the ideas of intelligence, action and audacity with this particular fragrance. ...I was first introduced to this lovely Eau de Parfum as a gift, It was launched in 1990 and was baptised the "Hug-me" fragrance by its creator, Sophie Grossman, Tresor is a sharp, floral, oriental fragrance with Low notes of amber and musk, blended with apricot and lilac. I have had many positive comments from both sexes on its attractive fragrance, The lovely sweet smell lingers all day and is suitable for day or evening and I would say for any age group too. This is a lovely light floral fragrance which is not overpowering and comes in an attractive diamond shaped, clear glass, spray bottle containing the amber coloured perfume, I am on my third bottle of this gorgeous fragrance and plan to replace it for as long as it sells! ...Tresor has to be my all time favourite perfume, and I have had my fair share of perfumes over the years. I used to love going round Lewis's and trying lots of different perfumes, until I found one that I really liked. I remember the first time I tried it, it was in 1991 and I was hooked on it instantly. I think I paid about £35.00 for a 50ml bottle of eau de parfum. It came in a really attractive glass rippled bottled; which looked really expensive and modern. It was a vapouriser version of the perfume that I bought and I only needed about 3 squirts, one on my neck and one on each of my wrists. The smell was absolutely gorgeous, and it seemed to intensify in strength after I had had it on for quite some time. Advantages: Not overpowering like some perfumes

...My Boyfriend bought me a bottle of this a couple of Christmas’s ago, it was actually in a gift set, which also included a body cream which was gorgeous and smelt exactly the same as the perfume itself. Since then I have had about three bottles of the perfume itself, I like this perfume as it is not a strong and overpowering perfume, it is just nice and subtle. I have never been a lover of strong perfumes, so this was ideal for me. Tresor has a sweet floral fragrance with a hint of lilacs and is suitable for either a nice romantic night in with you boyfriend, as well as everyday use, as it really is a sweet smelling fragrance and I also think it is really suitable for any age group. ...I bought a bottle of this perfume whilst on holiday in Germany. I had run out of perfume before going away and decided to shop whilst on holiday. I spent some time in the shop testing various bottles but was immediately taken with the scent of Tresor. It has a lovely, sweet floral fragrance which is not too heavy. I am not keen on very light floral perfumes but Tresor certainly struck the right note with me. It is suitable for both day and evening wear and has excellent lasting power. Just a few small sprays will last for the day and a quick refresh for evening if required. I think it was the packaging that attracted me first. Advantages: cheap and it lasts, and it was small enough to pop in my handbag

...When me and my husband first met, I was totally bowled over by his thoughtfulness and his generosity. He liked to send me little gifts and cards, which I'm sure people recognise as 'Love's Sweet Dream'. Anyway, after we had been going out for a few months, his friends announced that they were going abroad. He wanted to buy me some perfume so asked them to get me a bottle of something nice when they got to duty free. When they came back I was amazed at their choice, they had bought me back a bottle of Tresor. I loved it, the sweet, tangy fragrance was one of the perfumes that I had smelt on other people, but never had the courage to ask what it was they were wearing. ...Ten years ago, if you were asking someone about the top 3 of the techno clubs in Germany, the answer would mostly have been: the "Omen" in Frankfurt, the "Base in Dresden and the "Tresor" in Berlin. Nowadays the "Ostgut" would anyway be in this top 3 (at least through the fact that the Base died the hero-death of a underground club). Beside the "Tresor" it is THE club in Berlin if you are looking for a good night to dance through. The Ostgut was a old store for the nearby railway-station (Ostbahnhof). It has two levels. The ground level with a huge dancefloor and the upstairs level with chilling areas and the Panorama Bar as second dancefloor. The name Panorama Bar is well choosen, you have a great view over the industrial zone of Berlin *smile* (if the sun is shining) and can dance in the same time. On the ground level you have...
