...Tricity Bendix SIE233 - White The Tricity Bendix SIE233 cooker is all electric and has a combined grill and fan oven with four hot plates on the hob. I bought it online from Boots Kitchen appliances for £160 a year ago and so far so good, its been reliable and kept us fed! The main thing that led me to buy this particular cooker was the price, it was the cheapest fan oven that I could find and I was on a tight budget. Having previously had a fan oven I wasn't willing to comprimise and go for a convection oven which are often cheaper, this model was ideal. I also knew that Tricity Bendix was a well known and popular brand. According to the person that installed it for me, it was very easy to fit, you do need to supply your own cable and most companies you buy from offer an installation service for an extra charge... ...I have a tricity bendix DH090 slimline dishwashe, i don't know if thats an ecosave washer or not, but i'm writing my opinion here anyway. I bought my dishwasher from choice catalogue last may, it cost me £237.49, in fact im still paying for it. When i first received my dishwasher i was all excited, I thought to myself, ( no more washing dishing, getting my hand all dry and wrinkly.) I couldnt wait to get some dishes in and get it started. It went all good and well until one day a few weeks ago when I emptied it and tried to close the door. It wouldnt close. I pushed and pushed and it still wouldnt close. ...Wow. What can I say about this dishwasher without being truly offensive? We bought the Tricity Bendix because we needed a slimline machine to fit into our kitchen when we moved house. With one toddler and another on the way, we needed to get a machine that could at least clear away the bulk of the washing-up: even a small one was better than nothing! The brand we chose was not in stock, so we had to settle for the only other slimline machine they had. The Tricity Bendix did not look as good as the other model but was about £10 cheaper and we were buying a lot of other white goods at the same time. Needless to say, we now wish we'd waited for our original choice! My complaints about this washer are nothing to do with its size. Being full height, it can accomodate most items that would fit in an ordinary dishwasher, but takes up less space in a small kitchen, and is cheaper to run. Another advantage for a small family is that it is quicker to fill a smaller dishwasher so you are not hanging around with a stinky kitchen waiting to fill the dishwasher before starting a cycle! ...After fifteen years of nagging and countless hints of how everyone but me had a dishwasher , my husband finally gave in and we purchased the 45cm Tricity Bendix . The main reason for choosing the slimmer model was purely lack of space in the kitchen and I must admit I did feel a bit dubious about the size because we have four children who create an awful lot of washing up.The dishwasher is advertised as being able to take eight place settings,and although I think that eight would be a bit of a squash it easily had enough room for the plates etc from the six of us and still had plenty of room for a couple of saucepans as well.All the washing came out looking like new , and I have now found after having had it for a few weeks that old tarnished cutlery has regained it,s gleaming new look.The controls are clear to use and although... ...Anyone who knows me knows that I don't have much luck with anything electrical. I have been married for 6 years and in this time I have had 5 washing machines. When my last washing machine broke we couldn't afford a new one so I was constantly taking my washing to my mums, which is quite difficult when you have three messy kids.
