The bliss of putting away the marigolds is reason enough to sing this little machine's virtues from the tree tops! From a practical point of view we have found the smaller capacity a bonus as it fills up quickly enough for our family without having to have smelly dishes waiting to be cleaned or half empty dishwashers being put though a whole cycle (not very eco saving!). We usually just use the normal programme (3) and only occasionally find food left behind. The worst dishwasher I have ever used

Advantages: Slim-line, inexpensive model
Disadvantages: Poor wash quality, 'eco' settings therefore redundant

...Wow. What can I say about this dishwasher without being truly offensive? We bought the Tricity Bendix because we needed a slimline machine to fit into our kitchen when we moved house. With one toddler and another on the way, we needed to get a machine that could at least clear away the bulk of the washing-up: even a small one was better than nothing! The brand we chose was not in stock, so we had to settle for the only other slimline machine they had. The Tricity Bendix did not look as good as the other model but was about £10 cheaper and we were buying a lot of other white goods at the same time. Needless to say, we now wish we'd waited for our original choice! My complaints about this washer are nothing to do with its size. It had no manual with it but it can be viewed and saved via the website www.manualshark.org.
