...This is my first review, and had never planned to do one until the Mercede Benz A-Class moved me to writing about it. I purchased a A140 Avangarde in December of last year. I have to say I am completely bowled over by what a complete car it is. It may be as short as a Ford KA, but there is space and quality a plenty. Ride - 1400cc, this is ideal for city life, however when cruising on the motorway, it has a presence, and there is always enough power when you need it. The handling and control is nothing less than you might expect from a Mercedes. It is very responsive despite being such a 'Boxy' car. Looks - The Avangarde, is the top spec in the range. Logitech provide great sound again!

Advantages: Look good, sound good, user-friendly, easy to set up, plug into any headphone jack
Disadvantages: A lot of wires

...the cable with the remote on the end, the one that goes in the headphone jack and then one that you plug into the mains. So there are 5 cables. Although it's great that they are long there are a lot so if you don't like cables I'd go for some wireless speakers! However the overall sound quality is fantastic, I haven't heard any fuzziness, white noise over my music, the bass control is brilliant. I like them as you can certainly hear the panning of the music, sometimes speakers don't provide a great deal of pan but these are set up well. The aethetics of the speakers are great too, the ones I have are black with silver trim, and it's not a tacky silver, they do look good quality. Really a CLASSIC

...The Rangemaster Classic 90 in Dual Fuel really is an outstanding cooker. We went for the matt black version with chrome trim and it is a great focal point to our kitchen. It has 5 gas burners - 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, plus a double burner which as it name suggests is wonderful when wok cooking. It has 2 electric fan ovens, 1 of which is tall and houses 4 racks plus a plate rack. It also has a large separate grill, with browning elements. The cooker comes complete with a griddle and a Handyrack (with roasting tray) which is fixed (can be removed) to the oven door and makes basting easy. The cooker has a temperature which is useful and a clock, which allows you to programme meals ready for your arrival home. Philips Vacum Trimmer

Advantages: The Vacum, Great for maintaing stubble, looks good
Disadvantages: Length settings sometimes change, vacum increases noise

...I purchased this trimmer from Argos last year for £30, and it is still going strong. No faults or problems have occured. It has 9 lock in settings. I use it mainly to maintain stubble which it is excellent at however if you have a beard it still works just as effectivley. The best feature which makes it stand out from the rest of the trimmers is the vacum function. It does actually work, which was to my suprise as I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick. But it's not completley mess free, you will still need to clean around wherever you've had a trim as it does leave some hairs around. Don't be off put by not being able trim while it's charging as the battery life is very good. One problem I have encounterd is the lock in length settings. A number of times whilst I've been trimming on lets say 'length 3' half way through me...

...I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world. I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning. I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon. I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for £10 this became very cheap. It has a charging/recharge indicator and is supplied with its charger This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best...

Black trim wax does exactly what it says on the tin as they say, it is a liquid form of boot polish if you like, designed to go onto black or very dark grey car trims, it is supposed to keep them supple, protect them from the harmful rays of the sun, and it certainly makes them look better in my opinion. It really does make a difference to your trim, you will realise how bad it did look. It comes in a plastic bottle (375 ml), which is easy to use. It is however easy to get this on your clothes, and contains a stain, so be careful. It is small enough to remain in your car most of the time, which means it is there when you are bored waiting for the wife to come out...

...At around 29p a bar, this is a quick snack that is also pretty healthy. It is basically sesame seeds coated in molten sugar, so perhaps not that healthy, but the sesame content adds calcium and some nutrition. Packaged in a little transparent cellophane wrapping with yellow trim, it can be picked up in virtually any corner shop, beating the price of a chocy bar hands down. In supermarkets you can generally find them near the snacks, or, depending on the manager's point of view, tucked away in the healthy eating section! They also come in a pack of 3, for around 65 pence, which is quite a saving, and there is also a chocolate covered version. Although I think they may be originally mediterranean, and have been around for years, my pack was manufacturedin Poland - all part of the EU, I suppose! Taste wise, it is quite sweet...

My motoring consists of either very short journey as my work is just over a mile from home, or long distance journeys of up to 270 miles at a time. On a long distance trip to the Lakes and back recently, which was mainly on the motorway, I achieved 85.7 mpg over the 534 miles (diesel used measured manually) but this was at 60 mph.
