...I have been waiting for Trinity Blood to come out for a long time and I wasn't disppointed. In the world of Trinity Blood, the human-run Vatican is one of the largest ruling influences in Europe and is in open conflict with the race of Methusaleh (commonly known as Vampires). Father Abel Nightroad is a travelling priest connected of the group within the Vatican known as AX. His purpose, to track down and investigate the growing problems with ever-growing and increasingly violent Methusaleh. Trinity Blood has a glorious cast of characters. There is the plucky nun heroine Sister Esther to the deceptively bumbling Nightroad (like all good main character sthere is more to him than he seems) to the gun-toting emotionless android Tres, there is something for everyone to enjoy. One such executor Abel who is sent out on a mission meets a girl called Ester, where from there on the story of the two develops. Review- Animation- Spectacular. Starting off with amazing character designs, they incorporate computer technology, with breathtaking and wonderfully drawn settings, engrossing the audience into the trinity blood world. Story- the story about vampires and the vatican rule is both good and bad with its bad parts and then it can be really amazing. The character and story development maintains but not as great as most animes do. Overall this anime is worth a watch but can sometimes be hard to maintain a constant watch of the series. ...I first came across Triniti when I was watching TV with my Daughter Georgia. An advert for their Debut Album came on, and her head turned to the TV, and she was cooing along with them. I resolved to find the album, but then forgot about it for a while. I recently found the album on Play.com, for the sum of £8.49, including Post and Packaging, which I didn't think was a bad price to pay for such fine music. They have an eerie sound to them, haunting and melodic. If I had to compare their voices to something or someone, I would have to say..... Remember Clannad ? Imagine the scene: "Dad, I think I need something a little more up market if I am to succeed in my musical ventures." I was 16, just after my GCSEs had made my dad proud for an altogether brief moment. "I think I need a synthesiser." So, we went to Brighton, to a music shop, the name of which escapes me, but I recall it was run by a man called Matt Hi-tech (his real name, I'm lead to believe) who'd just been on a week-long course to learn all about Korg Trinity synths. Advantages: A Potential New Franchise?
Disadvantages: A One-Dimensional Blade. Poor Villains.

Blade's by now cliche grouchy ol' man act and unwillingness to join the Nightstalkers is under-used and glossed cheaply over when he learns off the group's efforts to develop a virus capable of wiping out vampire-kind, and possibly him to boot, though there is no indication of turmoil whatsoever over this news, merely a blank acceptance (bad acting rather than stoic acceptance on Wesley's part in my opinion). The potency of this virus will also be boosted by it's introduction to Drake's blood, thus setting up the two opposing sides for an inevitable clash.
