Blade
Advantages: read opp
Disadvantages: read opp
...Blade was first released in 1998, directed by Stephen Norrington, and starring Wesley Snipes as a half human half vampire, who's mission is to slay all the bad vampires of the world. When I first saw this film I loved it, I was a big fan of the comic books, and watching a big screen adaptation was just well worth the wait. I thought snipes was a brilliant actor to play blade, having seen his early films i.e. passenger 57, and demolition man, this guy is a awesome martial arts expert and can kick ass. If I was to explain Blade to anyone who hasn't seen it, I would describe it as a more violent, intense and action packed Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Plot:
The film starts off really well; a young man is taken into a secret underground nightclub. At first he thinks everything is cool, then gradually realises this is not the sort of club...

As sharp as his blade
Advantages: Wesley Snipes, loads of blood and action
Disadvantages: Not for the squeamish
...I love films with Wesley Snipes and when this came out on DVD I just had to have it! Hubby is used to my penchant for vampire films and just did the right thing by keeping quiet and letting me have my way. I'm sure you all know me well enough by now - if it comes in the genre of horror then I will want to watch it!
So we bought this and it had been sitting for a while so we decided that we would watch it last night. Tonight it is one of the sequels (a review will follow!).
***Synopsis***
Blade (Snipes) is a man who is different from other mortals. He is half man, half vampire. His mother was bitten by a vampire when she was pregnant and the "virus" transferred to him while he was still in the womb. She died giving birth, and he was left all alone. Later on in Blade's life he meets Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) who takes...

Yeoman cuts with this blade
Advantages: cuts well spare blade for a yeoman saw
Disadvantages: none
...If you have a yeoman 21in bow saw it might one day need a replacement blade . These blades are available at http://www.wyevale.co.uk or you can always pop into the wyevale garden centre to buy one. A single blade will cost you £3.49.
This blade is made of precision ground tempered steel. It has many jagged teeth .This blade should last a long time as it is strong and rust resistant.
The blade on a Yeomans saw is fairly as to remove it has a black quick release lever on the end of the saw. just use this and the saw blade can be removed no screwdrivers needed . Fit the new blade into position and then close the quick release lever this will tension the blade and fix it securely and firmly.
Would I recommend ? Yes if you have a Yeomans bow saw its good to have a replacement blade handy
*Bow frame.
This bow saw is a green...

Blade returns for more vampire action
Advantages: Story and special effects
Disadvantages: none
...Blade 2, the sequel to the successful film, Blade, was directed Guillermo del Toro, who is well known for making visually stunning films. Wesley Snipes returns as the half-human, half-vampire, fighting for humanity.
This film continues two years after the events of the first film and sees Blade reunited with his friend and mentor, Abraham Whistler, who believed to be dead. During the Whistler?s absence, Blade has found a new assistant, Scud, who provides him with his arsenal of weapons. They are soon infiltrated by a team of vampires who want to ally with Blade in a battle against a new type of vampire, called Reapers, who feast on humans and vampires alike. The Reapers have a mutation that was initially spread by Nomak. Blade must form an unlikely alliance with a team of vampires, called the Bloodpack, who were specifically trained...

blade
Advantages: Wesley snipes
Disadvantages: Blood, Blood, blood
...The story is simple, A young baby boy is born half-man, half-vampire, as a result of his mother being attacked by a vampire whilst pregnant with him. He grows up hating vampires with a passion, And vowing to kill every last one.
Armed with a samurai sword, And a gun which fires silver bullets, He goes on to become the ruthless vampire slayer, Blade. The twist in the story is that he himself is a vampire and the only way he can control his need for blood is by daily injections of a garlic serum.
Our valient hero is mirrored by a wicked villian, Deacon Frost. Played by Stephen Dorff, He is a leader of a gang of vampires who believe that thier kind should rule the world and humans should be merely food. He is crafty and cunning and will stop at nothing. And in true super hero style, thier is blade trusty sidekick, Whistler. Played by...

Blade VS Dracula!!!! Hell Yeah!!!!
Advantages: Amazing action, cool characters, brilliant special effects, sublime sound track.
Disadvantages: Storyline very similar to last 2.
...Blade trinity bought an amazing conclusion to a brilliant trilogy and is in my opinion one of the best vampire films ever made. I was on the edge of my seat watching this film and there wasn't a dull moment.
The Film
Story
This is where the blade trilogy fails a little bit, every movie seemed to have the same storyline dressed up in different characters and locations: The vampires are scared of blade so they try to obtain some kind of super-vampire to kill him but he ends up killing it. I.E.
# Blood God
# Nomak
# Dracula
It would also have been nice to have an ending where blade doesn't need to be saved by one of the other characters. But as with the other two films, he gets into near fatal trouble at the end.
However, having said that, this didn't bother me that much because the action more than makes up...

The Third and final Blade
Advantages: One Last Blade Movie
Disadvantages: Drake not as strong a villian as the likes of Frost and Nomak
...in the beginning. Just a little disappointed his parting in this franchise wasnt a bit more dramitic, but it seemed slight fitting in a way. Lets face it not everybody cant go out in a perfect blaze of glory anyhow.
One performance i loved in this film was that of Danica Talos played by Parker Posey. Shes brilliant in this role, a vampire with an added edge much like Decon Frost did in the first blade movie. Yet she seems genuinely unstable throughout and you can never tell when shes being fully serious. She was a very strong role in this film and all of her moments on screen had her on this knife-edge of reason. A very good casting choice indeed.
Triple H as the moody muscle of the vampire menace actually suited the role very well. Thankfully ( sorry WWE fans ) he didnt perform his trademark "Pedigree" move during this film...

Triple the Chocolate?Triple the Delight
Advantages: Cost, taste, texture...what more can I say!?
Disadvantages: One is never enough!
...Fox´s Triple Bar
Triple the Chocolate?Triple the Delight
I don't know about you but there is just something completely delicious about a chocolate or digestive biscuit with a cup of tea or coffee (more coffee with me since I went off of tea when pregnant!). The right one can go perfectly with a mid morning snack (or if you are like me, mid morning, mid afternoon and mid anytime!!). The only thing with me is that I usually get bored of the same biscuits over and over again. Finally I have found one which actually this hasn't happened!
Introducing Fox's Triple Bars!
******Background of the Fox******
Let me start by giving you a brief background on the company.
The company 'Fox's' began as a small shop in Batley in the heart of Yorkshire in 1853 which in 1927 transferred to a bigger site just down the road. It was...
