Hot 'n' Steamy
Review of Triton T100i Electric Showers by
SimonJ
Advantages: Powerful, Reliable, Stylish
Disadvantages: None
...and scale reduction features. If the water pressure's too low, it switches off - preventing the element from burning-out. When you switch it off, the water continues to flow for several seconds which cools the element and reduces scale formation inside the shower. The inside of the shower also has a coating to try and prevent scale from forming. Another feature is a digital readout for the temperature - useful if several people use the shower and prefer different temperatures.
Anyone who wants a powerful, reliable and stylish electric shower should take a look at the Triton T100i....

Some like it hot
Review of Triton T100i Electric Showers by
flooda
Advantages: Lovely hot showers. No scalding. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: None so far
...I’ve always been a shower rather than a bath person.
Unlike hubby, who takes to the bathroom equipped with books, coffee, smokes, and generally enough supplies to go on an African Safari, only to emerge about two hours later looking like a wrinkled old prune. Yuck!
But last year our ancient old Gainsborough shower decided that enough was enough, and gave up the ghost on me. It had been temperamental for months beforehand, deciding on a whim whether to either scald or freeze you to death.
One of my friends has a Triton shower in her bathroom, that I’d used and liked, so off I dragged hubby and his chequebook to the nearest DIY store for a gander.
There was quite a choice, but the one that caught my attention was the Triton Topaz T100i. Unlike some of the big and bulky boxes that were on display, the Topaz came...

The features of the T80 include a three-mode shower spray head. It also has a start stop button. When you are happy with the temperature that you have selected you just press the start/stop button, so the next time you want a shower it will always give you the perfect temperature every time. The T80 is very stylish and all controls are conveniently positioned. At 8.5 kW and £119+vat the Triton T80 is exellent quality and good value for...

Right you 'orrible shower! . .
Review of Triton T80 Electric Showers by
smudgeybabes
Advantages: Powerful, reliable, class.
Disadvantages: None.
..., so you don't need to order a special very expensive one from Triton. The shower is so powerful,it actually penetrates the shower curtain!
The actual flex, which is chrome covered by plastic, seems to be still up to the job after ten years, although I may replace soon, mainly because it has been stained red from hair dye - NO, Not mine!
The only other job I have done, was to replace the upstand that the handset fits to, this consists of two plastic fittings, with a length of chrome tube between them. The original seemed to be far too short for my liking, and seeing as I just happened to have a decent length of chrome pipe in the garage, it was a shame not to use it. The original one was less a foot long, but now is over twice the length, which is a little more user friendly, and it looks more professional somehow...

Shower power
Review of Mira Advance Electric Shower by
SueMagee
Advantages: Requires only a cold water supply and electricty to produce a consistent shower.
Disadvantages: It isn't an invigorating shower when the temperature is turned up.
...to the wall over the bath or shower tray) and this is then heated and released through the shower head. The faster the water is fed through the unit the cooler the water will be, so if you want an invigorating shower it’s going to have to be a cooler one. If you want a hot shower then you should think in terms of it being soothing.
So, my vision of a hot, invigorating shower trickled down the plug hole. “But” said the bathroom man, sensing his sale disappearing with it “if you have a more powerful shower it will be capable of heating more water per minute and you will get a more invigorating shower!”
“Which”, I asked “is your most powerful electric shower?” Proudly he invited me to examine his Mira Advance. There, I got there in the end. At 9.8kW the Mira Advance was the most powerful electric shower available and whilst I didn’t quite...

Mobile Beauty - Samsung T100
Review of Samsung SGH T100 by
liamsquire
Advantages: Great Phone, colour screen, polyphonic ringtones - too much to list actually
Disadvantages: Only holds Ten texts and no downloadable games!
...The Samsung T100 is a beautiful product. Its sheer design makes your
mouth water. This was the first mobile phone I ever purchased and the
only one. I did not want to have a mobile phone until I saw this
product. I was in awe. It was and in my opinion still is the most
beautiful mobile phone around.
It definitely set the precedent in terms of design, colour screens and
polyphonic ringtones.
I paid £300 for this mobile when it first came out on the market without being chained down to a specific contract. I’m sure you can find this phone now for around £200 - £250.
What you get when you buy:
------------------------------------
- Samsung T100 mobile phone
- Two batteries: one slim-line and one thicker. The thicker one lasts
longer than the slim one. But I use the thicker one as it gives a
better grip...

I never take a bath now
Review of Triton Ivory Shower by
SusanLesley
Advantages: Efficient, variable, powerful
Disadvantages: None
...with a normal strength jet around the edge.
Mind you I must admit I just get in and have a shower, I haven’t really bothered messing about with these different settings yet!
The showerhead itself is also adjustable in height by moving it up and down the rod on which it is fixed and in direction by just twisting it up, down or to either side.
Since the shower was already installed when we bought the house I am afraid that I m unable to let you know how much it actually costs. Sorry about that!
We also have a Triton Amber set over the bath in the bathroom and although I have not yet used it the two guests who have both said that it was very good.
In conclusion I would say that I would definitely recommend Triton showers as being easy to use, effective and leaving me full of get up and go! Well for a little while at least!...

The sleek and sexy T100.
Review of Samsung SGH T100 by
MattK
Advantages: Looks great, easy to use, clear display and buttons, good WAP services.
Disadvantages: Phonebook could be easier to access, battery runs low quite quickly.
...The T100 is a quality phone. It may not be the cheapest handset if you have to buy it yourself, for instance on a pay-as-you-go type service, but if you get it for free or subsidised by your network's contract, then its a good (and stylish) option. The T100 is the handset equivilent of driving a flash sports car. I've had mine since late August 2002 and in that time it has received plenty of admiring comments, about how cool, sleek and cute it is. So if you want a phone to pose with, this has to be in the top three currently available.
Enough on the aesthetics, what about the function? Well, it's perhaps not quite as easy to use as most Nokia handsets but it still is very user-friendly. Navigating the menus is easy and they are clearly laid out, although the phonebook can seem a little tricky if you want to find a number in a big...

T100 - 4096 percent hehe
Review of Samsung SGH T100 by
freakishkid
Advantages: 4096 Colors TFT Screen... Polyphonic Ringtones... Snazzy flip-lid... PC Connection
Disadvantages: NONE. No, really. OK, so it doesn't have bluetooth...
...OK, the Samsung T100.
It's been a while since I wrote anything for this site, so I may be a little rust ^^ just bear with me though, eh? hehe.
Let's start off with the Technical Specs...
- TFT colour screen phone with 4096 colours
- 16 Polyphonic ring tones
- Dual LCD display
- Voice dial
- Voice command
- Voice memo
- T9 Predictive text
- Personal organiser
- 3 New games
- Built-in modem
- Downloadable ring tones and screen images.
Well, I tell you, I wanted this phone for a long time - and, after being refused contracts from all the major companies (i can get a house, a car... but not a mobile phone contract? lol) I ended up buying the phone outright... for £270.
I am glad to say, however, that I was not disappointed at all. The box itself contains the phone (in a snazzy jewellery-style box), a hands...
