Some like it hot
Review of Triton T100i Electric Showers by
flooda
Advantages: Lovely hot showers. No scalding. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: None so far
...I’ve always been a shower rather than a bath person.
Unlike hubby, who takes to the bathroom equipped with books, coffee, smokes, and generally enough supplies to go on an African Safari, only to emerge about two hours later looking like a wrinkled old prune. Yuck!
But last year our ancient old Gainsborough shower decided that enough was enough, and gave up the ghost on me. It had been temperamental for months beforehand, deciding on a whim whether to either scald or freeze you to death.
One of my friends has a Triton shower in her bathroom, that I’d used and liked, so off I dragged hubby and his chequebook to the nearest DIY store for a gander.
There was quite a choice, but the one that caught my attention was the Triton Topaz T100i. Unlike some of the big and bulky boxes that were on display, the Topaz came...

Right you 'orrible shower! . .
Review of Triton T80 Electric Showers by
smudgeybabes
Advantages: Powerful, reliable, class.
Disadvantages: None.
.... .
I have just had to go check which version mine is, there is no number, it is just called the Triton Aqua Sensation.
The age of mine? Well, it must be about ten years old now, so I think that qualifies as standing the test of time.
Triton have a very good name in shower circles, or should that be cubicles? and these models can be fitted slightly off the wall so it can be easily tiled after it has been fitted.
Mine is actually a power shower, although in "non power mode" it seems as good as any other make of shower. The thermostat seems to keep the temperature just right, you just "dial up" the temp you want, and the whole thing is easy to keep clean.
I have heard that showers can be noisy, but not in this case, the only place there is any real noise is in the shower itself, and you are only in there for a matter...

Review of Triton T80 Electric Showers by
veraboy
Advantages: VALUE FOR MONEY

...The performance and control on the Triton T80, makes it among the very best, value for money electric showers around. It is also one of the best selling showers around. The features of the T80 include a three-mode shower spray head. It also has a start stop button. When you are happy with the temperature that you have selected you just press the start/stop button, so the next time you want a shower it will always give you the perfect temperature every time. The T80 is very stylish and all controls are conveniently positioned. At 8.5 kW and £119+vat the Triton T80 is exellent quality and good value for...

topaz what a jewel
Review of Topaz T100si by
Ian592000
Advantages: powerful
Disadvantages: none
...I recently bought this shower because we moved to a new house and had a new bathroom fitted,I have my Topaz in a shower cubicle not in the bath. The reason I opted for this shower was the features and settings it has.The shower is thermostatic controlled it also has a LCD display [liquid crystal display]which tells you the water temperature. It is very easy to change the temperature there are two separate buttons one is red for the hot water and one is blue for the cold, to add more hot you simply press the red and to add more cold the blue, fool proof really.
The switching on and off of the shower is operated with the same button, press in for on and depress for off. There is aslo a power on light .
You can adjust the shower spray to different options simply by turning the shower head EG light spray, massage, central spay only...

I never take a bath now
Review of Triton Ivory Shower by
SusanLesley
Advantages: Efficient, variable, powerful
Disadvantages: None
...As you are all probably bored with hearing by now, Dave and I have just bought a house in Llandudno in North Wales. It is an old house, having been built in 1896 and it was previously used as a guesthouse. Consequently there are certain things in the house that were geared to the comfort of the guests.
One of my real loves in this house is the shower cubicle. At our old house in the Midlands we had a shower over the bath in a very tiny bathroom so when anyone took a shower the entire bathroom got soaked and it was so much trouble to clean everything I usually had a bath instead! Well we have been here since 2nd August and it is now 10th September and I have only had one bath! Ah, that is why the neighbours wear pegs on their noses!
Seriously we have a lovely shower cubicle complete with a Triton Ivory Shower and it is great...

Hot 'n' Steamy
Review of Triton T100i Electric Showers by
SimonJ
Advantages: Powerful, Reliable, Stylish
Disadvantages: None
...I found myself with old Redring shower when I moved into my flat, which dribbled cold water when switched on. I decided it wasn't worth fixing and looked for a new one.
Triton have a very good reputation for making good quality reliable showers, so when I found they were the nicest looking ones on the market as well the choice was made. It may seem a bit daft rating looks so highly, but having a badly designed box fixed to my bathroom wall is not for me.
I went for a 9.5Kw shower, which gives fast flowing hot water all year round. Some of the cheaper lower powered showers really do get affected by the temperature of the incoming water - not a problem with the T100i. It's also one of the few showers that comes with a decent shower head with adjustable spray patterns.
It's an electronic shower with built in safety functions...

Review of Korg Triton by
jim2004
Advantages: Sounds that are out of this world
Disadvantages: cant thing of any realy.
...The korg Triton has for many years been the flagship of the company korg. it is used by many , many professionals , and has been used to produce songs for artist such as Kylie Minogue e and by the band no doubt. the keyboard . the triton features. Also rock legend Rick wakeman pretty much only uses korg keyboard and has a triton
* 425 multisamples
* 413 drum samples
* a built in sampler
* octave drop button ( this alows you to drop an octive instantly)
* expansion ports
* all the inputs and output ports you could possibly ask for!!
if you are concerned that this keyboard might not sound as good as the latest korg keyboard such as the extreme , mirco korg, dont. the korg triton uses the same software to produce the sound as the newest korg keyboard on the market and is a lot lot cheaper. you can expand on the sounds...

Topaz Hotel
Review of Topaz Hotel, Bugibba by
emz382382
Advantages: Good value for money, clean, friendly
Disadvantages: sunbeds always reserved, noisy students as night
...I just arrived home from staying at the Topaz Hotel for ten days. Here goes my experience...
We (family of 5) arrived at the hotel at 2am along with alot of other guests. Check-in was very fast and we were handed keys and information about breakfast times. We were told before the holiday we would be guarenteed adjoining rooms, but this was not the case. We went back down to recption to find out this was no longer possible and we were placed on different floors.
There are two parts to this hotel - one being the hotel building complex with swimming pool view and the other being across the road (where are rooms were) surrounded by buildings and not a view to encourage you to make full us of your balcony! The balcong in these rooms were all attached with no privacy whatsoever so you could not have quiet drink on your balcony if you...

Hotel Topaz, Malta
Review of Topaz Hotel, Bugibba by
aimzxx
Advantages: great pool and lovely area
Disadvantages: too noisy in the night
...My family and i stayed at the hotel topaz for 10 days from 14th July 2007 on a half board basis, going with choice holidays. The Hotel staff were efficient in checking in and helped fix the air conditioning in our room when we asked. The majority of the guests staying at the Hotel were teenagers and a lot of noise was made throughout the night. However, the swimming pool was clean and the food was great and the Hotel is situated in a lovely area which is great for snorkelling. There is also a number of water sports companys along the coast, which gives the holiday an added bonus! Although the Hotal is rated as 4* i would rate it more towards 3* but it is worth the money!...

Thomsons All Inclusive Cruise On The Topaz
Review of Thomson Holidays by
milmol
Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op
...All inclusive cruising on the high seas, a tour of the Canary Islands, and a chance to experience the Topaz before she retires from Thomson’s after years of loyal service, how could I resist.
I used to imagine cruises were for older, elitist couples, but friends and family persuaded me otherwise. The Topaz offers all inclusive cruises, drinks included, and on the recommendation of others we decided to try her before she is replaced this year by Thomson’s new ship, The Spirit.
With seven decks to explore, entertainment and 24 hour dining, it sounded too good to be true, especially as the prices were excellent. We booked last July from the teletext, using a company called Book and Go. Total cost including insurance and flight supplements from Manchester was £890 for two adults. I was stunned at this low price bearing...
