GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

Not so much a triumph,,,

Triumph RS

Advantages: Nippy commuter.
Disadvantages: Cramped and thirsty.

...Had one for a couple of weeks while my triumph trophy was in for service. It was in orange so you couldnt miss seeing it. I found it to be small as i ride a much bigger bike, it is very nippy then i realised it has a 955i engine in it. A 3 cylinder so it had a nice sound to it. It is a sports riding position so can be uncomfortable for distance work as your weight is carried through your wrists. It would be good for short distance commuting through a big city as its small and nippy to squeeze through the traffic, that it the kind of commuting i do and it coped but at the end of the journey i found it tiring and will stick with the 1200cc Trophy. I think it would be quite easy to break the speed limit on it without realising as it is small light and powerful. But it does handle very well as a good sports bike should but didnt get...

Advantages: Lightweight, good value for money, funky design, reliable

On Yer Bike!

Advantages: Great fun, slow, Harry loves it
Disadvantages: Noisy, siren is a pain

In fact, he's not into anything that moves too fast or does things that he doesn't expect to happen, pretty much like any 2 and a half year old I expect. So as you can imagine, I wasn't overly thrilled when I found out last year that Harry's great aunt had bought him a motorised motor bike. Please bear in mind last Christmas he was only 21 months old and consequently pretty small and unconfident, but nonetheless, the Halfords Mini Racer Bike was on its way to us courtesy of my parents. It wasn't something we expected to keep for long but funnily enough, its now become Harry's favourite ever toy! Advantages: Free road tax, reliable, appearance, ease of maintenance
Disadvantages: lack of security needs aftermarket locks

...125 would give her a run, only 4 gears, drum brakes, no turn signals etc etc. Fun? In spades. What makes it even more pleasant was other bikers and afficianados. Where ever I stop, people speak to me, but ogle the bike. It tops out at about 110, cruises easily at 70; returns around 55 to the gallon, but no figures can measure the grin factor. Those figures are obviously helped by the bigger (amal concentric) carb, higher compression and the alloy head. It leaves the usual 1960's mark wherever it's parked, but even overnight is a couple of spots; attention to detail when putting the pieces together, care when placing gaskets and care when tightening up make a difference. The riding experience of something like this can't really be described in words. It has to be felt. The few friends who have been allowed to ride her have all said...

Triumph Trophy 1200

Advantages: Great all round bike
Disadvantages: May be too large for shorter people

...I own the 2001 version of this bike. The 1200cc 4 cylinder motor sure does pack a punch. It can out perform most bikes on the road. It is a great tourer and commuter especially if the full luggage set is installed. This consists of 2 panniers and the optional top box. I have the triumph panniers but the top box i have is made by shad. The triumph top box is an optional extra and expensive new. It can be purchased on ebay though but you will need to be patient to locate the colour you are after. It is a large bike but is ideally suited to those longer in the leg. It fits me perfectly as im just over 6 foot. The comfort is variable but some people chose to fit an alternative seat such as a corbin or instal a sheepskin cover. The comfort for the passenger is alot better due to the width of the seat. I commute everyday on mine 20 miles...
