...I have owned my 2003 Triumph Trophy T312 1200cc since March 2006. I bought it with 9000 miles on the clock, all documents, full service record and in totally immaculate condition for only £3000. This was my first "big" bike after having a series of 600cc machines. My initial fear of it being too big, bulky and heavy were reasonably unfounded as I seemed to adapt reasonably well and quickly to riding it. Having said that, I am 6ft tall and am pretty well built so I felt that I was strong enough to cope. Anyone who is significantly smaller may struggle with it. The build quality of the bike is excellent. Regarding features, everything seems to be very well put together, all plastics fit and meet perfectly and the paintwork is impressive. All user controls are very well positioned and easy to use too. The riding position is excellent...

Tourist Trophy - The Real Riding Simulation

Advantages: Well detailed , Good Graphics , Good gameplay
Disadvantages: No Online Mulitplayer

..., Learning the tracks , making minor adjustments , not running a single race & getting a bike as a reward , this kind of kills the game a bit for me... So Polyphony Digital if you ever happen to read this & you do make Tourist Trophy 2 , Please give us the option = ) Players : 2 - Split screen multiplayer or System Link Online : No ... & a real shame it is too .... Why PD can't get their act together on this front is beyond me . Overall : 9/10 Final verdict .... If you have a PS2 & like Bikes , then I suggest you get this game , or at least rent it ! , Oh ! & don't play it like a pussy .. Use the on bike view ... Review of Triumph Trophy 900/1200

Trophy - the ultimate touring/commuting machine

Advantages: Excellent riding position, Clear well laid out controls
Disadvantages: should have been a shaft drive

...Having owned big bikes since the early 70's I've been lucky enough to experience many bikes. But without a doubt the machine that is a clear winner for me is the Trophy 1200. If you are a large or tall rider (I'm 6'4" - 33" inside leg) you may have found as I did that you tend to dwarf most of the bikes on the market. However the Trophy seems to be suited to me almost perfectly. Ever had that ache after an hour or so in the saddle? You know what I'm talking about. Well forget it with the Trophy. I have clocked 5 hours solid with nowt more than a petrol stop and felt as fresh as the moment I set off. Unbelievable. The handling is also pretty awesome. Very forgiving and handles like a sports model. Amazing stable cornering with effective brakes. Luggage capacity is also quite impressive. On one occasion I managed to do a weeks shop...

Slimline World Cup?

Advantages: Good yardstick to whether we have improved

...The impending ICC Trophy in Kenya looks to be a stab at a mini World Cup. Somewhat surprisingly the winners will walk off with more money than Australia did in 1999 when they won the World Cup. Others will surely brand this a mickey mouse event, although such an accusation would be unjust, as all the Test Nations are there. It will be interesting to see hope Bangladesh get on - they obviously have low expectations, especially as they have organised a friendly in South Africa for the day of the semi-final. It will be interesting to see how England get on, after a very good sumemr, with a win in the Natwest Trophy and the historic Test Series win against the West Indies. However a series win in Pakistan would be far better for our reputation as a cricketing nation, although this tournament might be good for raising the profile of cricket...

...Trophy Bass 4 is a fishing game. It is to tell the truth a pile of sh**. There is no challenge in the game and every time you cast the reel into the water it is not long until a fish comes and bites on to the bait. The most fun bit of the game is driving about in the little speedboat, which you are in. The graphics are terrible and the music is even worse. This game has got to be the worst game that I have ever played on and so it definitely gets the big thumbs down....

Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy - Ridiculously Fun

Advantages: Fantastic handling, quick, rare, practical, massively fun.
Disadvantages: Interior not great, long term reliability as yet unproven, image not for all.

...I've had my Renault Clio Trophy for almost two months now and still enjoy each drive more than the last. It really is an outstanding little car. For those of you who don't know, the Trophy is essentially a 182 Cup with a few added extras; added extras that turn what is already an extremely capable hot hatch into something truly exceptional. Just 500 came to the UK, with 50 left-hand-drive models going to Switzerland. Every one bears its number on a small plaque on the base of the driver's seat. The Trophy gets minor cosmetic tweaks: Capsicum red paint (it really is VERY red), a larger rear spoiler taken from the Clio V6 and some rather nice "Trophy" stickers on the sills. It also gets some rather more substantial upgrades: the Recaro sports seats that were an option on the 182 are standard and really are the bees' knees for comfort...

...Being an Irishman I can write a reasonably objectionnable opinion on England's current predicament. To avoid another media witch hunt a la Hoddle and Keegan Eriksson will need to be realistic at the outset. As it stands England are a long way from winning a major trophy, years of quick fixes have left the team in bad shape. The main reason for such quick fixes was the pretty bleak outlook on the youthfront with very few top class players coming through. The results have been there for all to see, the England side have lacked the ability to put together the crisp passing moves essential at international level nowadays. One way things could be improved straight away would be to organise far more meetings with the players so they can begin to play as a time instead of the disjointed mess seen in recent qualifying matches...
