...think it would last a heavy user a while. True Match Minerals Foundations is available from a lot of stores inclusing supermarkets, Superdrug and Boots. It can be purchased for normally between 12 and 14 pounds. This may seem fairly pricey but the product would last you a while. Overall I think True Match Minerals is a good foundation that provides good coverage. It is also better for your skin. The only problem is the messiness it can cause. Also posted on Dooyoo....

...the Loreal True Match foundation that took my eye. When I asked the lady on the beauty counter about this particular foundation , she said that it was one she would highly reccommend and that it was also very popular! I tried on a few 'shades' and soon found one which suited my skin tone the best ; The Golden Beige shade. I paid approximately £10 for my foundation. The bottle has a very elegant look to it! It consists of a clear glass bottle , which allows you to see the actual foundation. It looks expensive , and I would consier it a luxury item. Considering it's 'clever' qualities , although I think £10 is quite a lot for foundation , considering you can get cheap ones for £2-3 , I would have expected this product to have been a lot more expensive than it is! It is definately great value for money! I have been using this foundation...

Disadvantages: Overpriced, over hyped, poor colour range, poor application, nasty finish

...I?ve used many products from the L?Oreal range over the years, ranging from face make-up (i.e. lipstick, mascara, blusher, etc), to face and body moisturisers, self-tan products and hair-care products, and I have to say that the majority of the time I?ve been fairly pleased with my purchase. So, when I saw the very lovely Penelope Cruz advertising L?Oreal?s newest addition to its range ? True Match Minerals Powdered Foundation ? I thought I?d give it a try. I?d seen this product advertised on TV a few times over the past six weeks or so. Most evenings, there was Penelope during the add breaks, with her flawless, wrinkle-free complexion, telling me that I too could have a face like her with one quick and easy application. What they didn?t say is that this stuff is incredibly difficult to find where I live, for some reason...

My Perfect Match

Advantages: Very even coverage, much more than you would expect from a powder
Disadvantages: Badly packaged

...this time I was going to try something new so after going through all the testers in my local Boots I settled on Loreal True Match Minerals in Golden ivory. I wasn't 100% sure of it as I had been only testing the shade on the back of my hand as you will be aware that's not really the best way to chose a foundation. But I felt at £13.99 it wasn't a gigantic waste if I didn't get on with it. (Just for the record I did spend the rest of the gift card on cosmetics too!) In a way it's a good job I hadn't checked ciao for this particular product as looking at the reviews now I am really quite surprised that people have not gotten on with this foundation at all. I think Im in love with it! It is a little awkward to use but the effect is fantastic for me. I have had family and friends tell me that I look really healthy since I started wearing it...

L'Oreal true match foundation.. Get the air brushed look!!

...a brick wall then it would. Best way to choose your shade Most people put the foundation on the back of their hand, blend it in and then look at the coverage and shade match. Now this is wrong the way to pick your shade as the back of your hand is a different colour to your face, I learnt that the correct way to choose your shade is to put the foundation in the palm of your hand to warm it up and then apply it to your jaw line. The other mistake I use to make was looking for a shade match under a shop light, this is also wrong as shop lights can make the foundation appear light/darker than it really is. Take a little mirror with you apply the foundation to your jaw line in the shop then go out side and look, but remember to leave the tester bottle in the shop!! Advantages: Light, Quick & Easy application

...FABULOUS STUFF - Had seen the Guthy Renker infomercials re Sheer Cover and the barescencials QVC range so knew mineral powder was the way to go. When I saw this product immediately bought it. 49 yr old oilyish skin which hates the feeling of powder or foundation but really needs something. Bought the N3 which is a great match for my complexion and so quick and simple to use. Admittedly knew the best ways to use it as had got the gist from the tv ads and I do not use the brush it comes with but a retractable powder brush which I can load up for use during the day (which I rarely need). Do not use it on a freshly moisturised face as it will stick to the skin. Let moisturiser sink in (which is what you should do anyway) and simply pop your brush into the pot, tap the bottom on the brush on a table or the bathroom window cill and buff...

...the shade W1 (Golden Ivory); however there is a wide range of shades to match each skin tone. This product is to be used on a dry face as if the face is wet or has been moisturised then it will look blotchy. The brush is retractable. Simple unscrew the lid and dip the brush into the powder. I will warn you that only a small amount of the product is needed. It is best to use a small amount and then add more if needed. Tap the brush to remove excess powder and then brush onto the skin using circular motions. This powder stays on all day and is easily removed with a cleanser in the evening. I recommend this product to anyone with problem skin who has blemishes. I used this product everyday and it has just ran out. It lasted be 8weeks. That is 56 applications. It can be purchased for £15.99 from boots and Superdrug....

Definately a true match!

Advantages: Lets skin breathe, has SPF 15, doesn't turn skin orange or leave tidemarks
Disadvantages: Quite pricey and doesn't last extremely long (up to 6 hours, not any longer though)

L'Oreal True Match Minerals :)

Advantages: Easy to apply and covers the face to give a natural look

...I normally use liquid foundation but after seeing the advert I decided to try L'Oreal True Match Minerals. I was quite surprise with the results I got from the first time I tried the minerals. The colour matched my skin perfectly and looked natural. What surprised me the most was I did not need to use a lot of the powder and it gave me a finished look, like when I use liquid foundation. I tend to like the more natural look when I wear foundation but sometimes foundation doesn't blend into my skin. I had no problems with true match minerals blending into my skin. Only problem I have is the powder can be a bit messy. Also I learnt from my mistake not to put the true match minerals on straight away after applying moisturiser... then the minerals to not blend in. The minerals are easy to apply to the face with the brush; excess...

My True Match!

Advantages: Great match, flawless, good coverage, long lasting, doesn't cake, super blendable.
Disadvantages: Had to powder my skin a fair few times throughout the day, a bit expensive.

...brilliant, and it adapted to my skin tone perfectly. A little goes a long way so it will last for quite a long time. It is a nice, light foundation. So if you are looking for heavy/ medium coverage, then this is not for you. I found that this foundation lasted all day (in a busy, hot salon) providing i powdered my skin a fair few times throughout the day to keep it matt. It did not provide a matt finish (maybe 'cause i have oily skin) so i used a little powder to give me a matt look. I've also purchased the True Match Powder which is just as good. I recommend this foundation to anyone with uneven skin tone. However, you must powder your face after if you prefer the matt look. It was easy to remove at night with my cleanser which is great. I have finally found my true match. :)...
