...When I decided I wanted a graphic tablet I thought long and hard about it. I compared all different makes, done my research and saved up some money. I was all set to buy a wacom one but then we popped in to Argos one day and they had this cheap Trust tablet in stock. In a moment of madness I purchased it. And boy am I glad I did. It was extremely easy to install on my Vista Premium laptop. And as soon as I started to use it I was hooked. Paint suddenly became my best friend and within minutes I was drawing little cartoons. I have had so much fun with it on photoshop aswell and wonder how I done little art bits without it. The fun increases when you discover great freeware like art weaver and art rage. Advantages: Precise and a good size
Disadvantages: Vista driver does not match up with quality of the hardware

...The mouse feels really cheap and of no substance and has gone back in the box, where it will stay. The tablet which I am running under Vista is remarkably precise with no hovering or flickering to be found even when doing the most delicate touches to a photo. However, under the Vista driver, I find there is no support for the pressure sensitive qualities of the nib or the second button on the pen. Using the product for retouching in Photoshop CS2 I find myself undecided if there is any advantage over using a mouse instead Trust need to take a good look at their driver/software for Vista. The hardware is great, but would I buy it again? The answer is no, due to the apparent lack of effort to produce a driver worthy of the product....

Advantages: Uses light reflective technology rather than just covering, high quality, it works!
Disadvantages: Price, they test on animals :(

...an equivalent (or better!) highlighter from a cruelty-free company. When Touche Eclat first emerged it was revolutionary, but to be honest now there are so many other light reflecting pens on offer that finding a suitable and cheaper replacement shouldn?t be hard....

An everyday stick pen

...I had to write a note today and I used a Steadtler 430m. stick pen. Looking through my stationary drawer and discovered several staedtler stick pens. Steadtler 430 m stick pens are available in Blue, red, black and green ink. These pens are as you can see from the picture have a clear plastic shaft/barrel , This is 13cm long, just less than a cm in diameter. The shaft is a hexagon with 6 straight sides this is good as it mean the pen does not easily roll of the table. You can see the ink through the plastic, its not easy to distinguish the colour from a full pen though.. At one end of the pen is a coloured stopper at the other a strong metal ball point nib. There is a plastic lid which has a clip on it so you can clip it onto the edge of your paper or jacket pocket. This lid is coloured to match the ink. This lid is also...

Natural Pen Input Device

...I was looking for a pen device to allow me to produce computer graphics without using a mouse. I found the Digital Edge Natural Pen to be an excellent buy. I bought one from Comet for £40 (BEWARE). Unfortunately, this was old stock, and I believe Comet to have several of the old items around. The drivers were not on the CD!! and the downloads from Digital Edge did not work. So I ordered the latest one from Action. The new style one has a "tracing sheet", and function keys along the top. The pen installs very easily (under Win98), connecting to the keyboard and mouse ports, with the splitter supplied. In operation, the pen is excellent, and allows you to effect very fine control. I used to use it as a mouse too, but have recently returned to the rodent actually. The software supplied is ok, but I am not using any of it. I...

This ball point pen is available in red, blue, black and green, they are available in either a fine or medium nib. The fine one giving a line 0.3 mm width, the medium line 0.4 mm width. These pens have an outer casing of the same colour as the ink inside you can not see how much ink is left through the pen. ...I am now nearly 18 years old and I first picked up this model of pen was I about 7 years old. I remember the pride when I was given the handwriting pen by my primary school teacher- those who demonstrated good hand writing would be awarded a pen at the end of term and allowed to write with this for work instead of just a standard pencil. And to this day I have one in my pencil case- obviously not the original.. but they do last a fairly long time and don't tend to dry out unless you leave the cap off constantly. They are washable ink which means that you can get it off clothes (which I still manage to mess now...) and off your fingers if you have a strange writing style like mine!
