Trust lives up to its name
Review of Trust Power Master 4-in-1 Notebook Power Adapter PW-1280p UK - power adapter - 90 Watt by
amsterdamage
Advantages: Universal usage; affordable; multi-purpose; well-designed
Disadvantages: Larger than most adapters; was not suitable for my phone model
...support on the wire near the computer plug meaning the copper inside the wire's insulation can bend and break easily. I had had mine for a little over a year. I was not willing to shell out £30 on the net for another poorly designed adapter, so I went to my local electronics store and came across this universal adapter.
The Trust Universal Adapter truly is universal. It comes with a wire to which you can connect one of 6 notebook plugs or 9 other connectors for most phone models or iPod. These attach to another wire which can be attached to the main box, meaning you can charge your mobile or iPod while using it to power your laptop. One of the 6 notebook connectors should work with the vast majority of notebook models, even if not specified (you can always email customer support and enquire beforehand). I myself tried a few which certainly...

Don't Trust The PowerC@m
Review of Trust 550 PowerC@m by
ReviewDude
Advantages: Low Cost, Holds 49 Pictures
Disadvantages: No LCD picture display, Low Quality
...With a name like Power C@m I thought this was going to be something special. Of course I now know I was wrong.
The Trust 550 Power C@m costs around £42, not much for a digital camera. According to the book it also doubles up as a slow webcam but I never tried out this feature.
To turn on the camera is as easy as 1-2-3. Just simply pull back the lens cover and the camera switches on. After around 20 seconds your ready to take a photo.
You can then decide the camera resolution, 1.3 Mpix (1280 x 1024), max picture resolution 2.0 Mpix (1600 x 1200).
The camera has a tiny 8mb memory so you can only tak up to 49 picture and 20 seconds of video. You can quickly delete any unwanted pictures but to see what you want to delete you have to upload the pictures to your computer using a usb cable. This process takes around a minute...

Trust me I'm a camera!
Review of Trust 350FS PowerC@m Flash by
numberthree
Advantages: Small, lightweight, excellent price
Disadvantages: No preview screen.
...experience so far is that we have had no problems. The Trust 350FS Powerc@m Flash has a Flash memory (8MB), which means that all pictures are saved when the batteries are changed – great idea!! However, the camera does need a battery voltage to actually save the pictures in the first place and it is recommended that if the camera is not in use for a while the pictures are transferred onto a computer to prevent any loss. The camera has auto power off after a few minutes of not being used, which helps to look after the batteries. There is also an acoustic and optical low battery warning.
The camera can be used to take photographs in two settings – VGA (640x480, 60 pictures) and CIF (320x240, 190 pictures). The default setting is VGA and this is the setting we have used. It is simple to switch to the lower resolution; you simply press...

A Digital Camera you can Trust !
Review of Trust 950 PowerC@m Zoom by
SRowlands
Advantages: Very Low Price - Excellent Quality.
Disadvantages: Few "little niggles".
...the subject.
To display the photographs taken, the camera can be linked to a TV (PAL or NSTC) via the supplied video cable, displayed on the camera itself or connected to a PC or Mac through the USB port. The latter is also used to print out or save the pictures on your computer.
Battery life is always a matter for debate on technological items. The camera takes 2 x AA Batteries (supplied). I have been using the camera for about a month now (on and off), and I am still on the original batteries. The camera has a automatic power off feature to preserve battery life.
The Software -
The supplied CD-ROM contains the following software...
* Trust camera drivers - the files that your computer needs to use the camera, although my Windows XP recognised it anyway !
* Photo Upload software - When you register your camera, you...

Masterful and Command(er)ing Mr Crowe
Review of Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World (Collector's Edition) by
numberthree
Advantages: Great scenery, good acting and storyline
Disadvantages: A little gory for a 12a maybe
...Master & Commander
This is my first attempt at a film review - more my thoughts and feelings than a technical review maybe. I am unlikely to write another film review for a while and I welcome all of your comments – hopefully they will be favourable!
It was my husbands birthday last week and my in-laws said they would come and baby-sit if we would like to go out together – a rarity! So we had a look at what was on locally and we decided to go and see the only film that was on in our town, although we knew absolutely nothing about it. You can tell we aren’t filmgoers can’t you?
So off we went armed with the only thing I knew about the film – Russell Crowe was in it. I didn’t know whether that was good or bad though. Anyway onto my thoughts about the film.
The film is set in the Napoleonic year of 1805 and is almost...

Trust Trust? You must be joking...
Review of Trust 710 LCD PowerC@m Zoom by
Derran
Advantages: Very few. Picture quality, IF the light is perfect, can be good.
Disadvantages: Huge shutter lag, very poor flash, blurry LCD viewer
...should be cynical and suggest that is why Trust have included a mini tripod with the camera...
The LCD viewing screen blurs too easily, and takes almost as long to focus as the camera does to take a picture. It is also impossible to make out detail when you are viewing your pictures back, which for me defeats the object of having an LCD screen.
Okay, I could keep going with the negatives. I'll stop though. The positives........
Excellent software. Very easy to use, and better than the software you can get with more expensive cameras.
Lightweight, and small enough to drop in a pocket. Which is just as well, because after a few days of using it, it'll be staying there.
To sum up, generally awful. I took it on holiday just after buying it, and ended up buying a couple of disposable cameras instead. Guess where the better pictures...

trust dig cam
Review of Trust 1220S PowerC@m Optical Zoom by
danny_westham
Advantages: picture quality , stunning value for money
Disadvantages: looks- could be more stylish
...Trust powercams are one of a few up and coming digital camera models, that provided excellent performance for a very low and affordable price. This camera for example can be purchased for the stunningly low price of 135 pounds !
the camera uses a high quality 4 megapixel panasonic ccd sensor, and has an 6.0 megapixel hardware resoultion enhancer, this being that when u transfer the files onto a computer you can use the software provided to effectively got a 6. mp resoultion. this camera really takes some great pictures, not only comprisiing of 4x digital zoom but also a 3x optical zoom giving an effective zoom of 12x closer.
for storage internally it holds 14 mb which at 640x480 resoultion will store you are 260 photos, obvisuily the higher the resultion the less picture the 14 mb i will hold. howver if u feel this is not enough...

Trust or not?
Review of Trust 730S LCD PowerC@m Zoom by
janemain
Advantages: clear lcd screen
Disadvantages: flash takes too long inbetween shots
...I bought my Trust camera for just under £60, not a great deal I know when it comes to cameras. I bought it because my dog was about to have puppies and I wanted some snaps of thier first hours!!
I was happy with the camera when I first got it because I only used it outside for which it is fantastic.
As soon as I used it indoors it was a real disapointment!
If you use the flash everything lighs up like it pure white, then as you go to take another picure you have to wait for ages for the flash ot be ready again , by his time your impatient subject has gone off to do something else.
I would recommend the camera for outside use or for a first camera to get you used to using one, but if you use your camera indoors then go for a more expensive one that is a bit faster to operate....
