Trust 1200 Wireless Graphic Tablet. IT'S GREAT
Review of Trust Wireless keyboard by
see-search.com
Advantages: Big working area, easy to use, compatible with the major graphics packages. It's also great for playing and developing on.
Disadvantages: It's physically big, needs careful planning, and is a specialised device not suitable for everyone
...This is the story of how an unhappy artist was relighted using a Trust model 1200 (A4) Wireless Graphic Tablet. Also 3 examples of artwork using it done by the author. Please see "ARTWORK AND LINKS" below.
I often thought about using a Graphic Tablet when doing website images and when messing about in my spare time mainly using 'Photoshop' and 'Paint Shop Pro' (hmmmm I hear you say). Using a mouse everyone will agree is not a natural process when drawing which is what I had to do if I wanted to put it straight into the PC as a digital image or mess with an existing one. I had used a Tablet before during my not-so younger AutoCad days and liked them then.
AVAILABILITY:
With this in mind I trotted off to the local PC haunts in my locale, first visiting Dixons, "hmm can I get someone for you"? Then PC World, "Oh yes...

Truast TB-2100 tablet, easy and simple
Review of Trust Design and Work Tablet 200 - mouse, digitizer by
roy.jennings1
Advantages: great pen function for easy photo editing
Disadvantages: poor mouse, and freezes PC
...-programming the function buttons at the top of the tablet, to suit your own personal needs. I set them to operate certain functions within my photo editing program, making quicker and easy access to them.
With the pen I've been able to far more accurately touch up photos and pictures stored on my pc, for printing. As in the past my mouse hasn't offered the flexiblity that the pen gives tracking your moves across the mat.
There is a later software download from the Trust website, which i installed a few days after getting the product.
I have been having problems with the Tablet, which causes the mouse to stop functioning completely, and locking out even the wired mouse installed too. Leaving the only option to shutdown the PC, and restart using just the keyboard shortcuts.
I emailled Trust support, after a few days, and proving the Tablet was causing...

TRUST me for a great graphics tablet
Review of Trust Wireless keyboard by
babajane32
Advantages: Creative and very useful and can be used on all windows and Mac
Disadvantages: takes practice
...I have recently aquired a Trust wireless design and work tablet, courtesy of my Hubby on my birthday (thankyou, hubby of mine!).
I had fancied on of these for some time as I thought it would be handy for my work and to have a bit of fun with.
-------------------------------
**What is it and what does it do?
This handy little gadget is a piece of hardware that allows you to draw, sketch, handwrite, colour and picture edit by means of a tablet that sits on your desk.It comes with a cordless pen that you use to write onto the tablet.Whatever you have drawn on your tablet is displayed on your computor screen.
It can be used for a whole multitude of things, from making little sketches to add to your emails(as I do),to photo editing, artwork or even hand writting items.
I am currently using it to design small items...

THE TABLET EVERYONE'S TALKING ABOUT
Review of HP Compaq Tablet PC TC1100 - Pentium M 1 GHz - 10.4" TFT by
jellybean11
Advantages: speed, has speakers, compact, solidly built, good battery life, USB ports
Disadvantages: keypad, no power brightness ratio
...easier because you dont have to worry about where youre putting your hand.
The best screen resolution is achieved at 1024x768 on this PC. Anyone who knows about this sort of thing will realise that this it isnt an ideal resolution, but it works best on this Tablet PC; because text comes out very crisp and clear. Although the colours are impressive unfortunately the lack of brightness on the tablet PC screen degrades the colour quality slightly.
The only major downside to this screen that I have experienced while using the Compaq Tablet is using it outdoors. Under sunlight I could barely read the screen which obviously isnt ideal if you are planning on using it outside. An improvement would be to include a power brightness ratio as we have on our ordinary PCs but unfortunately this is a feature that very few notebook screens have...

revolutionary ultra-portable computer
Review of Compaq Tablet PC TC1000 - TM5800 1 GHz - 10.4" TFT by
Kezzalea
Advantages: flexable, light, saves time, hand and speech regonition
Disadvantages: longer battery, not cheap for spec
...The Tablet PC TC1000 is a full-function PC, with the power of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition classed as a revolutionary ultra-portable computer that you can write into using a stylus, removing the need for a keyboard and mouse
The TC1000 looks good and is cased in tough magnesium alloy, 20 times more durable than plastic. At 0.8-inch thin and weighing just 3.0 pounds, it is one of the lightest, most portable computers in the industry.
From Tablet to Notebook
The transition is smooth from tablet to notebook there is a mobile keyboard fitted neatly beneath the system, this swings open for easy access, or can be completely removed.
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Because the Tablet uses Windows XP Tablet PC edition it can run all your current applications. Email, Internet, whatever you use on your normal PC you can use on the tablet...

Trust 1200 -
Review of Trust 1200-V2 Wireless Scroll Tablet - mouse, digital pen, stylus by
Peenman
Advantages: Precise and a good size
Disadvantages: Vista driver does not match up with quality of the hardware
...The mouse feels really cheap and of no substance and has gone back in the box, where it will stay. The tablet which I am running under Vista is remarkably precise with no hovering or flickering to be found even when doing the most delicate touches to a photo. However, under the Vista driver, I find there is no support for the pressure sensitive qualities of the nib or the second button on the pen. Using the product for retouching in Photoshop CS2 I find myself undecided if there is any advantage over using a mouse instead Trust need to take a good look at their driver/software for Vista. The hardware is great, but would I buy it again? The answer is no, due to the apparent lack of effort to produce a driver worthy of the product....

Budget tablet - just the job.
Review of Trust Design and Work Tablet 200 - mouse, digitizer by
Honest.John
Advantages: Cheap, easy to set up and use.
Disadvantages: Mouse is awful - mine is lost and I am not looking for it!
...I originally bought this work tablet (although mine again is the TB2100) for photo editing. It was only £24 from Asda so I thought why not. I have read some subsequent reviews from other users who complain that it is not sensitive enough etc. but I think they must be using it for more 'professional' applications. You can buy much more expensive versions on this type of product, although I don't think you need to for home use..
Photo editing is made much simpler and quicker with this device, although I only ever use the Pen bit as the accompanying mouse is really horrible to use. You can put a normal sized photo under the clear plastic sleeve on the top of the tablet and it works a treat with any standard editing tools. Basically, you hover the pen over the tablet and watch the cursor move over the screen until you touch the pen...

Easy and quick to use Graphic Table,
Review of Trust Wireless Tablet TB-3100 (Wireless (Design & Work) Tablet 400-V2) - mouse, digitizer, digital pen by
fantabell
Advantages: Good of Beginners, can trace pictures, great customer service
Disadvantages: Not so good software
...I bought this product, for the use of my graphic coursework at GCSE level.
I like using this product as the pen is very lightweight, so it won't drag you down when during something onto the computer.
Also I like the feature, that you can lift up the clear plastic cover which is on the tablet, and put an image of your choice underneath it, such as a picture, and "draw" on it using the pen, and it comes up onto the screen. It is like tracing, but the more modern way.
Also on the pen there is a button, which acts like a right button on a mouse, where you write something and you are unhappy with it, by clicking the button the bit you have drew will disappeared, which is good as you don't need to be clicking on the undo button.
The response time from is the computer is very quick, so there is no problem like that.
However...

Toughness for anywhere but lacking a bit of kick
Review of Panasonic Toughbook 18 Tablet PC version - Pentium M 900 MHz - 10.4" TFT by
maxmidnight
Advantages: Tough enough for all environments with best of breed battery life.
Disadvantages: Keyboard cannot be detached, weighty, lacks power for multi application use.
...Over the past few months, I have been evaluating and rolling out tablet PC's across my organisation within the Health industry. My evaluation has covered the HP Compaq TC1100, the Motion M1200, the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120, Toshiba Portιgι 3500 and Panasonic Toughbook 18. What follows is a brief discussion of the Panasonic Toughbook 18 which I hope will give users some guidance and prove informative.
The Panasonic Toughbook range is arguably the market leader in robust tablet devices. It is the first device which truly stands up to hazardous condition testing and certainly is the most robust device for our specific requirements within the Trust. It has the best durability because it is wrapped in strong magnesium-aluminium, and is solid in construction: the screen doesn't wobble and all the parts fit together beautifully. Not only...

Disadvantages: Expensive
...organisation worldwide. The company employs more than 19,000 people worldwide. The company is very trustable with its products and their products are of a very high quality and standard. Lenovo is a worldwide leader in technology and have been around since 1981 so they have plenty of experience. And if you do have questions to ask about their products, they offer great and quick support. My overall opinion of this company is extremely high.
