Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse

...I bought this Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse as I was sick of fiddling about with my laptop's trackpad and/or "nipple" mouse button when trying to demo software at work, and wanted to avoid a) unplugging my mouse from the docking station, and b) filling up my bag any more than necessary... It's really small (5.0 x 1.6 x 8.3 inches, weight: 3.2 ounces) so takes up almost no space in my bag, and although it's great on a full size table/desk, it's just as easy to use in a small work space or even on a small airplane tray. The Mini Optical Mouse is "only" USB 1.1, but that allows "plug and play" connection with USB sockets on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Macintosh OS, I believe. Just plug it in, wait a moment while Windows does its "Found New Hardware" stuff, and you're off ! No drivers to install or anything...

A keyboard and mouse you can trust

Advantages: Nothing to set up, comfy to use and has great features
Disadvantages: Batteries need to be replaced in mouse

...I've had the Trust 280KS keyboard and mouse for years. To get started all you have to do is put batteries in the mouse and plug the keyboard in. The mouse wire is with the keyboard wire so you don't have to set up anything for the mouse. You can simply plug it in and start using them. The keyboard is dark grey with a light grey/silver at the top. The mouse matches the keyboard with dark grey (almost black) on top with silver sides. If you like things to match this is a great set to get as it will go with anything grey, black or silver. Keyboard: This keyboard is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever owned or used. Of Mice and Men - a Matter of Trust

Advantages: Useful software, inexpensive
Disadvantages: Bog standard wheeled, corded mouse. Stupid instruction booket

...ot the opportunity to smile sweetly at the IT lad, and ask for a curvy keyboard and a scroll mouse. Many scroll mice aren’t compatible with Windows 95 (apparently), however, this little baby came with a disk and an instruction booklet, confirming that it would indeed scroll.
