Lloyds TSB "The Bank for Your Daily Routine.
Review of Lloyds TSB by
dave8london
Advantages: All over branches, Easy to Open new Account, Good customer care services
Disadvantages: Hard to get Overdraft or Advance
...:- :-
My Local bank:- Lloyds TSB
"Banking is a part of our daily life. Life is easier with good banking. There are too many banks these days in the market. Some of them are international banks, rest are national or local banks. Aa usual I have an experience with some of the good banks. Banks like HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds TSB & ICICI Bank UK LTD. All banks are good in some part & bitter in few areas. Now a days my bank is Lloyds TSB, it's good bank for simple daily routine activities like paying your bills, setting up direct debits, depositing your salary & income.
Lloyds TSB is providing services to business & individuals, giving loan, mortgages, credit cards, savings, insurance etc. It providing many current account services like Classic Account, Classic Account with Vantage, Classic Plus. I have a classic account...

Lloyds TSB Internet banking
Review of Lloyds TSB Online Banking by
RoyC
Advantages: Check your account anytime, access features any time
Disadvantages: None so far
...I have been with Lloyds TSB for many years, and have to say that, for the most part, they have been pretty good with me, but the purpose of this opinion is not to rate TSB, rather to rate their internet banking service.
Joining is pretty straight forward, you fill out an on-line form, and Lloyds TSB susequently send you a form in the post with your personal details and activation code. This is assuming that you are already a TSB customer.
Once your account is active, each time you log on you are asked for your code, your password, and another question based on information that you have supplied previously. When you log on make sure no one is watching, because they could access your account, the results being obvious. After you have finished ensure that you log off for the same reason.
The web-site itself looks a little boring, but is...

LLOYDS TSB is not a bank to be with
Review of Lloyds TSB by
christopherbrown
Advantages: Not much
Disadvantages: Lack of competitivness, professionalism, individual attention, etc, etc
...I was with Lloyds TSB since I did work placement with then at school which was about 8/9 years ago now. Then the bank (TSB before the merger)was one of the best banks about to be with, they always helped and went out their way to keep people happy, but since they have merged with Lloyds bank, the whole startegy in which they work to has changed. It seems to be that they only concern about figures and meeting targets. It seems to me that they are more interested in getting money off people and then to get rid of them as quick as possible.
I put up with this for a couple of years, and then I received my interest on my account. I only recived two pence for the year, and on average I had about £700 in my account per month. I found this very bad. I then got a letter saying that I was overdrawn in my account, and I had been charged £22...

Let Lloyds TSB take you away
Review of Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card by
andyk910
Advantages: Up to 10 Air Miles for each £50 spent
Disadvantages: Not the best APR, not the best balance transfer, you maybe can borrow cheaper
...there are cheaper offers. However, this is a potentially useful source of Air Miles, if that is what you want.
**Two more questions - who issues this card and why do I want Air Miles?**
Lloyds TSB is one of the top 5 UK banks and in the top 30 banks in the world. Just how big it is depends on which measure you are using: It is the biggest bank in the UK if you measure it in terms of share of personal current account; however it is smaller than HSBC, RBS and Barclays by capitalisation. It is a large bank by any standards.
Air Miles is one of the largest and oldest loyalty schemes in the UK, originally launched and run by BA, but sold off some years ago. You can use Air Miles to purchase flights, hotel nights, days out and excursion tickets, entry to theme parks and the like - see www.airmiles.co.uk for more details.
**How do I get my Lloyds...

Lloyds or TSB
Review of Lloyds TSB by
Fugue
Advantages: Polite and friendly, decent services.
Disadvantages: They're still 'Lloyds' and 'TSB'.
...LloydsTSB is something of a misnomer, right at the outset. The service from staff, right through to - apparently - the products on offer vary wildly, entirely depending, or so it would appear, on whether you have walked into a branch that:
a) Used to be Lloyds,
b) Used to be TSB, or
c) Was opened since they got together.
Lloyds can be inefficient, there's no denying it. Little things like 'forgetting' to set up an endowment on my mortgage and not even noticing didn't endear them to me. On the other hand, however, once it was realised, they did fix it, immediately, and flagged the case up to ensure their procedures got tightened up.
On the other hand, crediting me with a few thousand pounds twice they *did* manage to notice. I wonder why that could be? :)
However, I don't actually have a bad word to say about Lloyds...

Students Check Out Lloyds TSB
Review of Lloyds TSB Accounts by
Coldplayer
Advantages: Overdraft, Online banking
Disadvantages: None I can think of
...<(IMPORTANT! This is a guide to the e.bank student accounts offered by Lloyds and not an endorsement of other accounts. Don't confuse with the graduate account)>
In the couple of months before I began university I realised I needed to open an account asap. I had a browse through all the different student accounts offered by the major banks and decided to go for Lloyds TSB. There were several reasons why I picked Lloyds. Firstly my parents used Lloyds and found them to be excellent. Secondly the account offered many useful services eg. overdaft facilities and online banking. Finally I liked the look of the £40 in your account if you were refered by an exsisting customer (What? I'm a student!).
Setting up the account was a breeze. I filled in all the forms with a member of staff(very helpful!), although I had to start university...

Lloyds TSB'S Select Account is a Winner
Review of Lloyds TSB Accounts by
sim5
Advantages: Services provided with the account package are excellant
Disadvantages: £4 a month is about the only disadvantage
...I have held a Lloyds TSB account for years - not that I have used it much because I am constantly poor. I began to think that there wasn't much point in having an account which I never used so I decided to go into a city branch and close the account.
While at the branch I was reading some literature about a new account that Lloyds TSB had launched. Although I wanted to close the account I did want to open a savings account which would give a good rate of interest compared to other similar accounts on the market.
The literature was really helpful and I found that if I upgraded the account I was thinking of closing to a Select current account then I could also open a Select savings account. The Select savings account was exactly what I wanted because it gave the best interest rates offered by Lloyds TSB and instant access to my money...

CrackTSB
Review of Lloyds TSB Online Banking by
Tetsuko
Advantages: They will extend your overdraft without your prior knowledge or permission
Disadvantages: That overdraft will then cost you darely should you ever fall into financial difficulties
...I have been a customer of LloydsTSB for years but not through choice and I certainly wouldn't recommend them. I had an overdraft with them that I would have almost paid up now if it wasn't for the continuous charges they keep adding to my account despite the fact they I am not in any financial situation to pay but have been struggling to pay them regardless.
I was in an agreement with them that they would keep my overdraft open as long as I regularly paid them £6 per month, even though I was desparately looking for work and had to borrow it from another overdraft just to keep them off my back.
Then, before christmas, they removed the overdraft and now are threatening to add a monthly fee of £15, additional daily fees of £20 per day for 10 days in a month as long as I am over my overdraft and an interest charge.
I have been...

Lloyds Tsb easy way to a nervous breakdown
Review of Lloyds TSB by
jane.uk
Advantages: Helpful Staff Sometimes
Disadvantages: Annoying Call Centres
...Started using Lloyds TSB 7 years ago on both a personal and business level.
When I first started I had the loveliest understanding manager nothing was too much of a problem easy to get hold of to speak to and see if the need arose, but then came the others.
So far I have had 4 different managers and each time I am never told you are having Mr x as your new manager because.....
Only ever find out when I call and then am told oh this is your new manager speaking.
I always have to ring a call centre to get through to the business centre, which is a task in its self. Last time I called it took 6 phone calls and 25 minutes, totally frustrated I had to leave a message for them to ring the next day as the call centre were not allowed to perform the transaction I required. Also get phone calls from the personal accounts asking...
