Thermaltake Tsunami Dream, What a beautiful case!
Review of Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA by
faggyflex
Advantages: Very robust, build quality, looks
Disadvantages: fimsy top lid, noisy case fans
...Ive owned the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA (windowed version) for around 8 months now, I chose it as the case that would house my very own PC "creation", a custom built desktop PC.
This case looks absolutely stunning. As you can see in the photo, there the curved brushed metal door on the front of the case I've owned the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA (windowed version) for around 8 months now, I chose it as the case that would house my very own PC "creation", a custom built desktop PC.
This case looks absolutely stunning. As you can see in the photo, the curved brushed metal door on the front of the case has two discreet blue LEDs which really make the case look elegant at night.
The case comes with 3 fans, a very large intake fan at the front, large exhaust fan at the rear, and a small side fan attached...

Review-TSUNAMI 3.5" ide+sata Ext Hdd Enclosure
Review of Tsunami Speed 3500 by
tomtaylor
Advantages: Stylish Nokia style outlook design and aluminium finish, comes with foot stand, easy to install
Disadvantages: The outlook of Nokia style stripe design might not be everyone's favourite
...=Intro =
Tsunami has been traditionally producing cases, speakers and desktop manager (mice+keyboard+speakers). In the recent years, TSUNAMI seems to have moved away from the budget/lower range products and concentrating more on offering unique, innovative, artistic and quality products. They are even Intel exclusive partner for specialist chassis design. Today I have one of their 3.5" hard drive enclosure with me for testing - speed 3500. The version that I got in my hand supports both ide and sata hard drive.
=The Package=
Comes in color retail box with plenty of feature lists to give you a good idea what you are buying. The box is simple, but its very robust and will ensure the safe transport of the unit (even if you have a hard drive in). Also enclosed with foot stand (to position the device vertically or horizontally), USB2...

The Power of the Tsunami Bomb
Review of Definitive Act, The - Tsunami Bomb by
heideroosjes
Advantages: Catchy Punk Rock
Disadvantages: A Few Uninspiring Moments
...Formed late 90s in Petaluma, Northern California and discovered by AFI bassist Hunter Bergman, Tsunami Bomb have built on a passion for music and on the successes that have given them Warped Tour appearances in the recent past. The Definitive Act is the first record to be produced since the band’s popularity exploded, giving them the chance to prove themselves once again and continue to attract from a wide audience.
Often described as fun, creepy, pirate pop punk (due unfortunately to one raucous 7“ release), one immediately recognises in Tsunami Bomb the overtones of a drawn voice and dirty sounding guitars that may have gone some way towards this peculiar portrayal. Having introduced the vague beginnings of metal into their punk music, especially in end track Jigsaw, on new album The Definitive Act, Tsunami Bomb provide a purposeful...

The Tsunami / Hanjie experience
Review of Tsunami: Japanese Logic Puzzles by
basboy138
Advantages: Hours of fun, and brain development!
Disadvantages: Very addictive - no work gets done.
...The Tsunami magazine. Well, to start off with, what an unfortunate name following the disaster in Asia last Christmas. Because of that, WHSmith have renamed these “Hanjie” – Japanese Picture Puzzles. Hanjie means ‘picture puzzles’ in Japanese, and that sums up what this is all about.
The puzzle booklet is published once a month by WHSmith, and is available from most of their stores. The current price is £2.90, and for the hours of fun these can give you, it is worth every penny. It is the same general size as most puzzle books, and can be found on the puzzle shelf. Look for the chequerboard style cover, and of course, the title!
Inside the front cover of the booklet is a list of full instructions, but to summarise, this is what you can find. Each puzzle is a grid of squares, and at the end of each row and column is a set of numbers...

Asian Tsunami – Was God To Blame?
Review of Everything from 0-9 by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: See review
Disadvantages: See review
...~ ~ I’ve lost count of the number of articles I’ve read in the past week or so in regard to the dreadful Asian earthquake and resulting tsunami that all seem to ask the same type of question.
“Why did God allow this dreadful tragedy to happen?”
“Where was a loving, caring and all-powerful God when the tsunami struck?”
~ ~ The first thing that strikes me as rather peculiar (or perhaps not!) is that the journalists and media people who are (mostly) writing these articles and posing these questions are usually the very same people who don’t give a toss about God or religion either in their own personal lives or in the lives or others. The secular, liberal journos and media hacks who never seem to miss ANY opportunity to carry out yet another round of “God bashing” every possible chance they get. Who have absolutely no personal...

An UNUSUAL view on the Tsunami tragedy???
Review of Everything that starts with U ... by
milleniumzeus
Advantages: I believe it makes sense.
Disadvantages: Too many knee jerk reactions in this country.
...and feelings. In the case of the Tsunami disaster they have delivered it with the highest impact possible. Human suffering is easy to reflect and also has the most effect with the technology available today, and it took me only a short time to once again become cynical of the media as I watched a close up, of a small Childs face, close enough to show the pores on his skin. That is what I call jamming it in your face.
All this brings to mind a few different things in my life. The first was a scene in the film “Saving Private Ryan”, when there was a hand to hand fight with a knife and the man with the knife told the man he was fighting with “that it would all be over in a second or two”. He then stabbed and killed the other man. I felt physically sick, and films don’t often do that to me as they are fiction and re-created by actors, but to me...

Tsunami review...
Review of Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA by
m00neh
Advantages: Good looking case - easily as attractive as LianLi or Coolermaster equiv.
Disadvantages: No motherboard tray, despite appearance quite limited space inside.
...I bought this case a year or so ago now and i'm sill happily admiring the shiny blue LEDs glowing from under my desk.
It arrived well packed and without random bits of polystyrine stuck to it with horrible tape that leaves a mark so 5/5 for that. The Thermaltake thumbscrews and "screwless" fan and PCI/AGP slot gadgets are nice and seem reliable, i must admit that i've not really stress tested the card holders much but i did manage to pull one off whilst removing a network card. Luckily it didnt break and it was a simple task to just slip it back into position again.
The Thermaltake fans are a bit louder than i expected and i have since replaced them with SilenX ones. (I of course lost out of the lovely blue LED fan but i will survive).
The usb/firewire/audio I/O on the top of the case is covered by a little door that feels...

The Definitive Act
Review of Definitive Act, The - Tsunami Bomb by
RazzaLazza
Advantages: Great female vocals
Disadvantages: Only 12 tracks - would have been nice to have had more
...Punk band but this is certainly not the case and for anyone listening to this record that fact is as clear as day. Tsunami Bomb are a fine Punk Rock band and produce music which is intelligent, heavy, and full of passion. You can tell that the band really believe in what they are singing about and this is a quality that a lot of bands seem to lack.
I think that a few people may be put off by first track 'Dawn On A Funeral Day' as it really is a bit of a letdown, but I was well prepared for this as I had heard the track on the 'Punk Rock Is Your Friend' compilation and knew what to expect. For me this is the only lowlight of the CD and from track 2, 'Being Alright' onwards the CD just seems to get better and better and the band seem to sound amazing at all times.
There are so many standout tracks from this album that it is hard...

Outstanding case
Review of Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA by
andybuck123
Advantages: Screwless architecture, aluminium, cooling
Disadvantages: minor imperfections
...-----| Reason for purchase |-----
I'm very much into computers and I have a pretty good system, however my old case just looked ugly and wasn’t very practical.
I also wanted a case with a window, so I could make use of the UV cathodes I had and such illuminating products.
This case is also very well made and a long lasting product, which is exactly what I needed.
-----| First impressions of setting up the case |-----
First thing to note was that I wasn’t supplied with enough (1 short) motherboard mounts which was a letdown but not a massive problem at all.
Everything else went in fine quickly and easily, more on this later.
Next problem was getting the power supply in, my supply is of a reasonable size, Antec TruePower 430W but I struggled to get it in, you would definitely have to remove the motherboard to replace the power...

Foghorn Leghorn, ponchos, Brad Pitt and tsunamis
Review of This Year In View - 2004 by
LR_17
Advantages: uuummmmmm........i'll get back to ya!
Disadvantages: Losing family/friends, the tsunami disaster
...could remember more about them.
7. What event from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The tsunami disaster, but I suppose everyone will say it as the answer to this question. It's true though isn't it? There hasn't been a natural disaster like it in decades. Mother nature managed to wipe out hundreds of thousands of lives with thousands more missing. It rocked the whole world and the families of those people who have lost loved ones. The people may be able to repair the physical damage that the disaster did to their homes, but the emotional and mental impact it had.......the damage can never be repaired. The response from the world has been phenomenal, we've all rallied together, to find some common ground....to help the victims of this disaster. Please donate to the disaster relief fund by the following ways...
