My Findings When I first opened the Dyer Balls and took them from the packet I was really quite surprised at how hard and solid they felt, I had imagined them to be soft, this made me very nervous at the thought of putting them in the dryer with my washing, I thought I might be opening up the dryer to find my washing all ripped up! Nevertheless I was intrigued to find out what these balls could do for my washing, so the first time I used them I decided to put them in with 3 pairs of jeans. Tesco Bounce Out The Competition

Advantages: Does what it says on the tin. Almost a quarter of the price of the "named" brand.
Disadvantages: Nothing of any note. The box is not as robust as its more famous counterpart.

FANCY A QUICK TUMBLE...

Advantages: No need for a vent. Dries laundry well and has a sensor.
Disadvantages: Generates a lot of heat. Not the most compact model in the world.

Miele Tumble Dryer - Quiet and Efficient

Advantages: Very Quiet, Efficient, Economical, Drying Options to Suit All Loads, Timer Delay
Disadvantages: More expensive to buy initially - but worth every penny ! Slightly more creases than other brands .

...This Tumble dryer is really superb. I have had Bosch and Hotpoint dryers for the last 15 years and been fairly happy with them. Owning the Miele has made me realise what I could have had for all these years! The Miele dryer is very efficient and has intelligent sensors. It starts off estimating how long the programme will take but then adjusts its timer to automatically suit the moisture content in the drum. This makes it very economical as it always shortens the time. I have complete control over the programme cycles. The timer delay allows for cheap rate usage at night with the benefit of the quietest machine I have ever heard. We do not get disturbed in the night at all. The functions for extra dry, normal, hand iron, machine iron and low temperature mean that you choose what condition the washing is in when it comes out. It...
